A Danish regiment leaves copenhagen, leaving 2 men behind as they think the two men were infected. Shortly after, the Danish regiment does not make it and gets devoured by cannibals. It is up for the two men to escape and tell their story. The two men wake up, wondering what happened. So they tried to escape, thinking they would find allies outside of Copenhagen. This is their story: They wake up, and escape the building their regiment left them to die in. They find some cannibals near a gate with a lock, they break the lock on the gate and go inside the abandoned bar's basement. They find a stairwell leading to the top of the bar, they see a gap between 2 buildings and find 4 planks that they can use to get to the other building; laying on the other gap of the building, tied to a rope. They also find a heavy barrel and use it to counterweight the planks and bring the planks up. One of the men sees a British ship, The "Brig-Sloop", the man uses his Jägerstutzen rifle to snipe the British crew. Afterwards, they use the planks to get to the other building and escape through roofs. They couragely fight the cannibals and find a building with a flaming attic and find it as their only way to escape. They rappel down from the building's windows using a rope. This is because there is a water pump and water buckets. 1 man pumps the water buckets, while the other one defends. Together, they get enough water to extinguish the fire on the attic. They head building through building until they find a house. They go down the stairwells and fight a horde of cannibals. They get out of the building and shoot a bunch of barrels near a boat to force it to move. They defend from the cannibals and quickly move to use the flaming boat as a bridge for them to cross the broken bridge. They find an unused boat with a cannon and also find roundshots and swabs for the cannon. They also find a swivel gun aboard. They untie the rope that keeps the boat from moving, and use the cannon to destroy the barrier. Their boat moves and the cannon alerts the cannibals. They persevere in holding out from the cannibals until they discover that the boat they used as a bridge earlier exploded and the mast is now blocking the canal's way. They use the cannon again to destroy the mast and fight the cannibals until they find the Brig-Sloop, the ship that the man shot at earlier, the British were hostile so they were forced to use their cannon to destruct the ship.
