- Head Spring Tutorial, Head Flip Tutorial, Bboy Tricks Basics!
In this video not only do I show you how to head flip / Headspring but I also show you ways you can apply the same teachings from the head flip headspring and apply it to other moves such as a shoulder spring / shoulder flip or a nip / kip up.
The head flip or headspring is a really simple move to grasp and a great gateway flip move to harder and more complicated flip moves.
I also show a few very simple ways the head flip or headspring can be applied to your breaking for the Bboys & Bgirls out there
Make sure you warm up before trying the head flip or headspring. Especially around the neck, shoulders, hips and back area.
Have fun with the head flip or headspring and feel free to ask me for more tutorials!
Have fun,
Stay fresh, stay clean,
Peace!

Honestly, guys, this move is not complicated. Practice, practice, practice. If you have space this move is more about confidence and timing. No push-ups needed or reps and sets. Just focused, isolated well-paced practice.
Absolutely practice and it's easier but before 1 hour i can't do it but behind 1 hour i did it because of you AJ-47 thanks ... so much and the important thing that i mast kicke by my legs ... I see it in your video
thanks much
will try
"a move is useless without applying it to our dance" so true, I learned this at my first battle where I realized I can't transition into any cool moves I got.
Bro I feel you, I think most of us learn the hard way man
Great tutorial, gonna start practicing this this week. Thanks!
thank you sooo much AJ bro. I have been inspired and developed because of you and your videos bro. thank you. Love from Reading, UK 😉😉. Long live Soul mavericks !!!
Thanks for your kind message bro! Much appreciated for real. A pleasure man!
Monkey flip tutorial, please!!!Dope tutorial as Always.
No problem bro, do you have the baby freeze down yet? Are you practicing?
@@AJ47SoulMavericks Yes sir
I have got both original and reverse baby freeze but facing problem while doing transition between them so I am practising that...Would appreciate an elbow freeze tutorial... 😅😅
@@devgupta5365 Editing it as we speak, should be up today
@@devgupta5365 I made it for you! Just posted it. Also check the comments section, I left you a nice comment haha
Duuuuuuuud it's like front hand spring ... I like it and maybe i'm going to do it
Yes brother! It's pretty much exactly the same
epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My guy! I knew you'd like this one haha 💥🙌
@@AJ47SoulMavericks this will be an awesome transition for me
@@maou_raizen fresh my bro! Send me a video on the gram when you got it
@@AJ47SoulMavericks i dont have space to try it in home going to try it after the lockdown is over.
i will send the video.thanks man
@@maou_raizen so how about I make you some small space moves to try? Would that help?
😮😮🤯 Woow.
Yeah! That's what I thought when I finished the edit haha 😂👏
More tutorial on tricks and combo plzzzz
You got it!
I'm trying to put out a "Quarantine Break" video but I'm stuck making music for it.
you mean you are making a video of you breaking or a mixtape of break beats?
I dont think my neighbours will like me trying this haha 🤣😂
That's why you got your mums bed! Only joking haha don't do that, I'll get in trouble! Use the mats!
How kip uppy is this? You gotta get arms in front of you.....and this move need set up .....and exits to be cool. Huh? Well I started it. Haha
Haha the set ups can be super basic but it's more so the move doesn't look predictable 😜
One of my students has learnt it and uses it as an entrance which is a cool idea! No need to worry about the set up haha
@@AJ47SoulMavericks yup, that was my plan too or at end of footwork, stand up like I'm AWESOME. I love the way you kinda were "over" the tripod windmill when ya did the tutorial!!! Haha. When should I start hittin it, outta headstand, out of backspin? Probably coin to feet to finish it? Im older and even a dumpy windmill is gonna hurt like bloody hell. I WILL GET IT. But I can rock headcoin for a bit until it becomes old.
After you got a move down, it immediately is old, I always need " NEW" stuff.
I'm a bit concerned about practicing this one on concrete.
Yeah probably skip practicing it on concrete bro. Maybe if you have a pillow or fold up a big thick hoodie and place it on the floor or hat
You didn't really go into any specific detail about how to do anything after the headstand.
huh??? Of course, I did. Before. I talk about it extensively beforehand. You must push your arms at the same time as you swing your legs with enough power to get over and land on your feet. Remember? Too much, you over-rotate, not enough, you land on your bum. All in the video. Try applying it first and then feel free to ask me a question AFTER trying it bro.
@@AJ47SoulMavericks I'll watch the beginning again. From the 3 steps part, it went from headstand to flip without any details in between.
@@AJ47SoulMavericks yeah. I pay more attention to the three steps part, which is where the details on the push and the flip are lacking. Still working on it though.
@@SpitefulAZ All I can advise is to watch the videos in their entirety, my brother. I tend to give important parts their own section to really get into the meat of what should be done. It's also why I don't start with the 3 steps otherwise there would be 10 or something. Once we get to the steps section it's an overview where you include the techniques taught into the 3 simple steps. When I'm on my head the only thing left to do is lean over, push, & swing at the same time and bring your chest over your hips. all of which I did cover.
Keep me updated with your progress, feel free to send me a clip or something via Instagram if it still proves challenging 💪💥
Im scared to break my legs😭
Haha I understand your concern, perhaps try place some cushions down and do it on to your bum on them first?
