Goalkeeper Derek Forster's debut for Sunderland AFC on 22nd August 1964 vs Leicester City at Roker Park, in front of a crowd of 45,465. Derek was and remains Sunderland's youngest player aged 15 years and 185 days. The final score was 3 -3 and although Derek conceded 3 goals, he was in good company as the Leicester City goalkeeper was Gordon Banks!
