I really liked the one theory about the Gorosei being a part of Imu, but when I first read the chapter I thought that those shadows were like creatures that Imu created with a Devil Fruit of some sorts. I thought this because I thought that it would be cool if that Imu had the exact opposite Devil Fruit thsn Luffy had. A Nightmare Devil Fruit would be appropriate because Luffy's Devil Fruit is based around dreams.
I thought the same thing. Alabasta is my favorite saga, even after all these years, and it does feel appropriate that Oda ties everything back to the beginning.
At this point i can't remember if it's just a rumour or it's comfirmed. But Alabasta should be the sort of second last saga. If it was written for just 5 years or so. To see he circle back to Alabasta means he is not lying about already had one piece ending in mind and not changing it for one bit.

Considering how much relevance "Inherited will" has on the series, maybe Im was born as a member to the D clan, but decided to seek a different sort of freedom: one that allowed it to "break free" from the Will of D.
i think at this point it's official her/his name is imu, Im before taken as the translation from japan that sometime taken like that but word to word that could be translate as i + mu, and at this chapter where imu state themself in his/her speech it's mentioned mu which could come from void/dream so it's not make any sense if her/his name is only "im" but she/he state oneself as "mu"

We have a likely immortal character with access to an island busting sky weapon but the theory of Imu op-op personality swapping into the body of someone who could control an ancient weapon seems a lot less popular than the all but confirmed immortality would suggest. Doflamingo pretty clearly linked both op-op operations to the "treasure of Maryjoa" and "true power". These fruit shenanigans also allow for Lili's personality to be imprisoned in a certain giant wandering elephant. They also set-up a very interesting future role for one Trafalgar D Water Law.
There is a legend about an elephant that come to mind with this theory of Lili being our large wandering pachyderm, one of the man who steals the elephants skin tricks the woman into marrying him then eventually she finds it and returns to being an elephant (thinking it being the reverse of the story, the frozen straw hat being the "skin" in this case). There is another about a reincarnation of Buddha (A red faced elephant with 6 tusks) and two wives but it would be quite a stretch with making it fit, but we know Oda and his love of religion and tying it into OP many times over.
Couple random theories. 1. Imu can somehow hold multiple devil fruits and Blackbeard is related to Imu in some way. 2. The massive shadow creature they saw a while back in the story actually was an elder in shadow form and they can become very large.
I think Mihawk is related to Imu, the have the same eye pattern some other characters have that to buy they both have red eyes and the same eyes in the manga.

It seems pretty clear that Imu & the Gorosei are all devil fruit users and very likely the Gorosei are Zoans with Imu possibly a Logia (unless it's all Oda's silhouette fixation). If Imu is a Logia I think I know what the fruit is. Logias tend to have a lesser and greater version and Imu seems to have darkness related powers. What if Imu ate the Kūsho Kūsho no mi, the void void fruit? That would almost certainly be the magma fruit of dark powers to Blackbeard's flame equivalent (the dark dark fruit) p.s. Do we know Oden isn't a D? There's already one surprise branch of the D clan. Is Kozuki D Oden that unlikely?

Oda made Luffy's Awakening a Toon-Human as the logical endpoint of his desire for a silly protagonist, it only makes sense for Imu to be a Silhouette-Human as the endpoint of his habit of designing villains based on how scary of a silhouette he can give them. Horikoshi did something similar for the design of All for One from MHA after all.

Im watching a TH-camr by the name of MangaMark watch thru One Piece for the first time. He is currently up to Thriller Bark, and as im watching his videos i am noticing so many hints that oda has left throughout the series about Luffy being a God. Its actually ridiculous how far back it goes.
Crazy theory time: Vivi is going to need to hide out somewhere that the World Government can't follow her, so she'll head to Wano. There, she'll meet up with Yamato, Momonosuke, and Kinemon, where they'll end up bonding over their shared connection to Luffy. Eventually news of Straw Hats' situation will reach Wano, and the four of them will set sail as the self-proclaimed 2nd Division of the Straw Hat Pirates to reunite with Luffy and the rest of the crew.

Unrelated to the video kind of, but it just hit me back when Ace and blackbeard fought and blackbeard said "the sun or the darkness, who will win?" I'm sure others made this connection but thinking of how oda was teasing the inevitable clash between the sun god and darkness over 800 chapters ago is wild.

Here's a big question, did cobra teach vivi to read the ponoglyphs ? It's clear he knows how to read them oda just didn't make a big deal about that fact. How else would he know what was really on the ponoglyphs that robin mistranslated to crocodile?
With Luffy and blackbeard being allies it a) means that Blackbeard is the 'true' final boss and b) will be them becoming unknowing allies. The only way I can see it is the Straw hat and blackbeard pilots both chose to fight Im at the same time which is entirely possible.
1. Cobra is not a D. clan member. That would have to have been Vivi's mother Titi, because she also has the naming convention and similarappearance of Lili. Cobra married into the family and took the Nefertari name. 2. Sabo was not using his logia form when he was hit. He was remaining tangible to avoid burning Cobra and carry him away. So no Haki was confirmed at all. A logia user has to activate the ability it's not a passive trait to turn intangible.
Imu's devil fruit might be able to re-write reality. The void century might just be a period that got deleted by Imu's ability. Or like Lulusia Kingdom. Such overpowered ability might have its toll so Imu can't just spam it. Similar to Luffy's gear 5 able to alter his surrounding but we don't see Luffy casually using it everytime. Sun God ability might be the only ability which can counter Imu's as it also influences reality around it. Can't wait for another hiatus for Oda sensei to prove me wrong 😂
Ok so i like the idea of devils vs. Devil fruits and on that note, what if imu's power is to create demons and or devils, would allow for a cool explanation for the shadows or maybe in true devil/demon fashion imu's power is to taint and corrupt devil fruits into their more demonic state. Thus explaining the shadowy figures but would still allow for the elder stars to have their own powers via devil fruits, etc.
I personally think that we just saw Imu use their devil fruit... the awakened nightmare fruit. With the ability of turning ones self and others into a nightmare version of whatever type of reputation the user has. If they have a great fear or reputation of such, they are more powerful.

I feel like blackbeards role as an antagonist to Luffy, is to be the dark to his dawn. I think the gorosei do not have fruit powers themselves, I think that IMU's fruit allows them to gain monstrous forms. I think IMUs role as antagonist to Luffy is to be the nightmare to his dreams. I think a NIghtmare Nightmare fruit makes sense in regards to my other thoughts at least. but who knows with go.D.a
Law, luffy, & Vivi will all be sailing together the way the story is being set up. All of the D. Clan will be facing the celestial dragons at some point for different reasons. Leading to the biggest war in one piece. Blackbeards plans, Luffys destiny, the revolutionaries war.
A think most of the fanbase is making a slight mistake in regards to Lily. People seem to be under the impression that Vivi is a descendant of Lily which she isn't. The Royal Family of Alabasta were descendants of her younger brother who took over after she didn't return. So it's many great aunt not very great grandmother.
The 5 elders do exist. Because they were all questioning luffys devil fruit. You could say they all have different personalities and knowledge but I don’t think it would be like that.. they definitely are there own entities.
It wasnt the Gorosei that transformed mate... it was their weapons that did. Just think about it.... 1. We know that weapons can eat Zoan devil fruits 2. All shadows seem to be a Zoan or awakened Zoan 3. Why would Oda draw a panel with the Gorosei reach for their weapons if they were gonna transform anyway??

My theory is still that Blackbeard is scheming to kill Imu & take that throne, and that Imu & this whole world government thing is Oda writing one of the biggest jobbing(in the wrestling definition) characters ever in storytelling just to set up how super duper strong Blackbeard is. Then Blackbeard will use his newfound power to try to take the one piece, plunging the world to an even greater darkness than before while he’s at it.
I kind of get the feeling Imu has a Nightmare Nightmare Fruit or something, where he can conjure up beasts or supercharge others powers with his ability like the 5 Elders or Gods Knights. And why does everyone forget the Millennium Dragons in the East Blue? Wapol is going to die on Egghead, just calling it now.
Considering people have linked IM with the mythic figure of Mother Sea what if the elders powers stem from the opposite of the DF which are Cosmic Eggs tying into the elders planetary theme and eggs are veg which in turn are classed as the opposite of fruits. Furthermore cosmic eggs are a recurring theme in creation myths and in Greek myths are seen as eggs with a serpent wrapped around the egg and this is what the mysterious red spotted egg was on the Oro Jackson.
One thought I had watching this, is that throughout the story we've followed the Straw Hats join a local faction and face off against the antagonistic force in a 1v1 scenario. However what if for the finale, there is more of a battle royale between the Straw Hats plus allies verses Blackbeard plus allies verses The World Government? I feel like in this scenario Cross Guild would for sure be an ally of the Blackbeards group and Red Hairs or the Revolutionaries would be an ally of the Straw Hats. In this way, the ending can separate itself from earlier arcs in both complexity and chaos.
One piece might go with the bleach route, having blackbeard as the aizen of the series and imu as the yhwach of the series. Black beard being the already set up villain and imu being the last suprise villain
Fun fact. There are at leat 2 D. Clan member that everyone ignores we have not seen die with a smile (because we did not see their dead faces): Trafalgar D Water Lammy and the parent that passed the D initial to Law (we see in 762 that Law's father did not die with a smile so maybe his mom was a D).
Nahh the straw hats have no interest in the D as a whole they just know some ppl who are strong have it. They really don't care. But as for vivi they would welcome her with open arms and as for her reasoning being the letter d I doubt they would even think much of it.
I had a theory that Imu has a Moon God df, making them a God of subjugation. The complete opposite "evil toon" power to Luffy and his sun God of liberation. If Imu wants something done it happens, and nothing and no one can refuse. All except the D's, which is why Imu hates them so much
I feel if Wapol was to travel with the Strawhats, we could end up seeing the Thousand Sunny upgrade. I do not recall the chapter/episode, but I do remember Franky mentioning it was not complete yet; perhaps industrious amounts of Wapometal is part of what was needed.

Actually Zunesha being Lily makes sense if Lily left Joy Boy to go to Majorie which led to creation of celestial dragons (zuneshas sin) The poneglyphs being created by Lily to pass on the history and Joy Boy creating the road poneglyph to direct to void century history so that the WG/Imu would struggle to find them. Alabasta is the equivalent of Egypt and there were elephant theres in the past. So Lily turned herself into Zunesha with her DF, and joyboy placing a Road Poneglyph there. She can’t return to human form or else Zou would either be destroyed…or squish her
Is it confirmed that Luffy has a grudge against Blackbeard? Sakazuki maybe, but I can't see Luffy blaming Blackbeard for Ace. Ace told Luffy he was after Blackbeard, and subsequently Blackbeard beat Ace. I honestly don't see Luffy having a problem with that
I'm sure this isn't a new revelation/hypothesis but with the poneglyph stonemasons being from Wano and the Kouzuki + retainers all having the "moon" in their name I would think that it were these Wano nobility that imparted the D initial to the other allies of the ancient kingdom. Except the D wasn't really a D but a crescent moon symbol similar to what was used in the Wano arc. I would think it parallels something like early Christians identifying one another by drawing a fish symbol in the sand. It's something innocuous to look at as an outsider but those in the know use it as a marker for solidarity. Maybe it relates to JoyBoy's promise and subsequent failure because someone was a turncoat and clued in those who would eventually go on to form the World Government. Regardless, I'm looking forward to Vivi playing a more pivotal role in the story again. I want to like Vivi but she had some really irritating moments in Alabasta. I started to enjoy her more post-Alabasta and she definitely earned her spot on the crew. I'm sure Oda will make a Strawhat reunion incredibly satisfying.
Is Cobra actually the D character in his dynasty? Vivi's mother looked exactly like her and imu's reaction implied that Lili also looked like Vivi. Unless the Nefertari's don't follow the pharao tradition of marrying their close realtives, i'm pretty sure the D had to run in the queen's family.
On the idea of Imu and the 5 elders being a connected being or subdivisions of a larger whole I immediately started to suspect this even before the shadow silhouette things bc of how Imu speaks. They refer to themselves as I in the same breath they say “why do you hide it from Mu?” - what if great Imu is the I or One that sits above at the top of a larger entity of six aka Mu - Mu being Imu plus the elders (1 plus 5 being six or Mu). This sort of reminds me of how lord Tensen from Hells Paradise is one being who split itself into multiple parts per the 5 different Taoist meditation techniques (additional tangent, my mind goes to Taoist and Buddhist parallels a lot for all things Imu since the empty throne is a potential reference tied to Buddhism)
So apart from Wapol and sabo (and soon the rev. Army) who know about Imu,maybe Rayleigh also knows since he told straw hats that he know the history of the world
Blackbeard has been set up as a rocks parallel so i see no way they work together. I think it will be coby and luffy to take Blackbeard to mirror the past as with everything in this show

I know this sounds ridiculous but i think that Imu made the devil tail, to me this reminds me of the devil fruit and so I think that imu was the one who created all the devil fruits hence he was able to stab Sabo because he has the fruit or just a power in general which has power to control all fruits.
While rewatching op, I noticed during the Luffy and Wapol on drum Island, Luffy sends waffle flying with a ggbazooka and I believe it was Chessmarimo who said something along the lines of “he’s flying off to space”. Ever since then I thought wapol metal would play a part in strawhat space travel. And with Wapol so desperate to hide from the government, space doesn’t seem like a bad option.
This chapter really made me wonder if imu has a silhouette fruit like a better version of morias fruit. And the elders are like a better version of the the soot crows or the clay golems.
It's extremely likely (not absolute, but likely) that Vivi is going to be joining the Straw Hats' voyage to Laugh Tale, with all current events taken into consideration. Maybe Sabo, as well. It just seems like it's the natural course of actions at this point, for Vivi to travel to Egghead with Sabo and meet up with the crew.
My "the raid will fail" stubborn theory is that Imu is a woman, it has always been and it will always be. I will die on that hill, even if I had to involve Ivankov somewhere in my head canon

1. Cobra is not a D. clan member. That would have to have been Vivi's mother Titi, because she also has the naming convention and similarappearance of Lili. Cobra married into the family and took the Nefertari name.
2. Sabo was not using his logia form when he was hit. He was remaining tangible to avoid burning Cobra and carry him away. So no Haki was confirmed at all. A logia user has to activate the ability it's not a passive trait to turn intangible.
Imu's devil fruit might be able to re-write reality.
The void century might just be a period that got deleted by Imu's ability. Or like Lulusia Kingdom.
Such overpowered ability might have its toll so Imu can't just spam it. Similar to Luffy's gear 5 able to alter his surrounding but we don't see Luffy casually using it everytime.
Sun God ability might be the only ability which can counter Imu's as it also influences reality around it.

Ok so i like the idea of devils vs. Devil fruits and on that note, what if imu's power is to create demons and or devils, would allow for a cool explanation for the shadows or maybe in true devil/demon fashion imu's power is to taint and corrupt devil fruits into their more demonic state. Thus explaining the shadowy figures but would still allow for the elder stars to have their own powers via devil fruits, etc.
I personally think that we just saw Imu use their devil fruit... the awakened nightmare fruit. With the ability of turning ones self and others into a nightmare version of whatever type of reputation the user has. If they have a great fear or reputation of such, they are more powerful.

For rice just fill the pan with water until it's about up to your first knuckle on your finger. High heat until bubbles tunnel up through the rice, low heat with the lid on until all the water has gone (or just buy a rice cooker)

I feel like blackbeards role as an antagonist to Luffy, is to be the dark to his dawn. I think the gorosei do not have fruit powers themselves, I think that IMU's fruit allows them to gain monstrous forms. I think IMUs role as antagonist to Luffy is to be the nightmare to his dreams. I think a NIghtmare Nightmare fruit makes sense in regards to my other thoughts at least. but who knows with go.D.a
Law, luffy, & Vivi will all be sailing together the way the story is being set up. All of the D. Clan will be facing the celestial dragons at some point for different reasons. Leading to the biggest war in one piece. Blackbeards plans, Luffys destiny, the revolutionaries war.
A think most of the fanbase is making a slight mistake in regards to Lily. People seem to be under the impression that Vivi is a descendant of Lily which she isn't. The Royal Family of Alabasta were descendants of her younger brother who took over after she didn't return. So it's many great aunt not very great grandmother.

The 5 elders do exist. Because they were all questioning luffys devil fruit. You could say they all have different personalities and knowledge but I don’t think it would be like that.. they definitely are there own entities.

2. All shadows seem to be a Zoan or awakened Zoan

My theory is still that Blackbeard is scheming to kill Imu & take that throne, and that Imu & this whole world government thing is Oda writing one of the biggest jobbing(in the wrestling definition) characters ever in storytelling just to set up how super duper strong Blackbeard is. Then Blackbeard will use his newfound power to try to take the one piece, plunging the world to an even greater darkness than before while he’s at it.

Considering people have linked IM with the mythic figure of Mother Sea what if the elders powers stem from the opposite of the DF which are Cosmic Eggs tying into the elders planetary theme and eggs are veg which in turn are classed as the opposite of fruits. Furthermore cosmic eggs are a recurring theme in creation myths and in Greek myths are seen as eggs with a serpent wrapped around the egg and this is what the mysterious red spotted egg was on the Oro Jackson.
One thought I had watching this, is that throughout the story we've followed the Straw Hats join a local faction and face off against the antagonistic force in a 1v1 scenario.
However what if for the finale, there is more of a battle royale between the Straw Hats plus allies verses Blackbeard plus allies verses The World Government?
I feel like in this scenario Cross Guild would for sure be an ally of the Blackbeards group and Red Hairs or the Revolutionaries would be an ally of the Straw Hats. In this way, the ending can separate itself from earlier arcs in both complexity and chaos.
One piece might go with the bleach route, having blackbeard as the aizen of the series and imu as the yhwach of the series. Black beard being the already set up villain and imu being the last suprise villain

Clan member that everyone ignores we have not seen die with a smile (because we did not see their dead faces): Trafalgar D Water Lammy and the parent that passed the D initial to Law (we see in 762 that Law's father did not die with a smile so maybe his mom was a D).
Nahh the straw hats have no interest in the D as a whole they just know some ppl who are strong have it. They really don't care. But as for vivi they would welcome her with open arms and as for her reasoning being the letter d I doubt they would even think much of it.
I had a theory that Imu has a Moon God df, making them a God of subjugation. The complete opposite "evil toon" power to Luffy and his sun God of liberation. If Imu wants something done it happens, and nothing and no one can refuse. All except the D's, which is why Imu hates them so much
I feel if Wapol was to travel with the Strawhats, we could end up seeing the Thousand Sunny upgrade. I do not recall the chapter/episode, but I do remember Franky mentioning it was not complete yet; perhaps industrious amounts of Wapometal is part of what was needed.

Alabasta is the equivalent of Egypt and there were elephant theres in the past. So Lily turned herself into Zunesha with her DF, and joyboy placing a Road Poneglyph there. She can’t return to human form or else Zou would either be destroyed…or squish her

I'm sure this isn't a new revelation/hypothesis but with the poneglyph stonemasons being from Wano and the Kouzuki + retainers all having the "moon" in their name I would think that it were these Wano nobility that imparted the D initial to the other allies of the ancient kingdom. Except the D wasn't really a D but a crescent moon symbol similar to what was used in the Wano arc. I would think it parallels something like early Christians identifying one another by drawing a fish symbol in the sand. It's something innocuous to look at as an outsider but those in the know use it as a marker for solidarity. Maybe it relates to JoyBoy's promise and subsequent failure because someone was a turncoat and clued in those who would eventually go on to form the World Government.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to Vivi playing a more pivotal role in the story again. I want to like Vivi but she had some really irritating moments in Alabasta. I started to enjoy her more post-Alabasta and she definitely earned her spot on the crew. I'm sure Oda will make a Strawhat reunion incredibly satisfying.
Is Cobra actually the D character in his dynasty? Vivi's mother looked exactly like her and imu's reaction implied that Lili also looked like Vivi.
Unless the Nefertari's don't follow the pharao tradition of marrying their close realtives, i'm pretty sure the D had to run in the queen's family.
On the idea of Imu and the 5 elders being a connected being or subdivisions of a larger whole I immediately started to suspect this even before the shadow silhouette things bc of how Imu speaks. They refer to themselves as I in the same breath they say “why do you hide it from Mu?” - what if great Imu is the I or One that sits above at the top of a larger entity of six aka Mu - Mu being Imu plus the elders (1 plus 5 being six or Mu).
This sort of reminds me of how lord Tensen from Hells Paradise is one being who split itself into multiple parts per the 5 different Taoist meditation techniques (additional tangent, my mind goes to Taoist and Buddhist parallels a lot for all things Imu since the empty throne is a potential reference tied to Buddhism)
As Joy Boy, I think Luffy's final fight will be against Sad Lad.
So apart from Wapol and sabo (and soon the rev. Army) who know about Imu,maybe Rayleigh also knows since he told straw hats that he know the history of the world

I know this sounds ridiculous but i think that Imu made the devil tail, to me this reminds me of the devil fruit and so I think that imu was the one who created all the devil fruits hence he was able to stab Sabo because he has the fruit or just a power in general which has power to control all fruits.
My only question at this point is.. what is Luffy supposed to do with the majority of this information?

While rewatching op, I noticed during the Luffy and Wapol on drum Island, Luffy sends waffle flying with a ggbazooka and I believe it was Chessmarimo who said something along the lines of “he’s flying off to space”. Ever since then I thought wapol metal would play a part in strawhat space travel. And with Wapol so desperate to hide from the government, space doesn’t seem like a bad option.
I feel like the reason we are spending so much time away from egghead is to show what will hapoen there will make everything else pale in comparason

It's extremely likely (not absolute, but likely) that Vivi is going to be joining the Straw Hats' voyage to Laugh Tale, with all current events taken into consideration. Maybe Sabo, as well. It just seems like it's the natural course of actions at this point, for Vivi to travel to Egghead with Sabo and meet up with the crew.
