Used to fish the bann at Portglenone and Toome, was catching hundreds of lb's of bream. Unfortunately due to commercial fishing of the lough, those days are long gone.
I remember in my mid-teens fishing festivals in the Irish Republic. Kevin and his Dad Benny were present at one or more. Might have been a festival called the King of Clubs. I'm not sure though. But I remember them in the bar/hotel at the prize giving.
I grew up beside the river Bann at a place called Lenaderg. Trout fishing only on the fly above Gilford, so not much coarse fishing unless you went to the myriad of loughs.
Wilson was a mentor to me as a kid I watch his tv programs and watched his video constantly Trying every method myself on my local rivers The only thing I couldn’t fish for here in Ireland was barbel
It was a 2 day process to convert and upload all the new Go fishing vids I’ve posted. I had to finish what I started two years ago. Now everyone else can enjoy the memories of a fishing legend, the one and only John Wilson.

Uploaded others from that series. Enjoy. Tight lines 🎣
I love this program, I used to notice that John sounded a bit pissed on the odd episode, like this one in the intro 😂
Thanks for uploading this amazing episode.

a Roach-Bream will breed with a Bream to form a Roach-Bream/Bream hybrid, or maybe with a Rudd to form a Roach-Bream/Rudd and so on.
Great upload!
