PAisTe: "Alright we need to make a cymbal demo video"
This guy: "So you want me to do stick twirls and hit them all at them same time while an announcer dubs over the sound?"
    PAisTe: "perfect."

For inked B8 cymbals, they really don't sound half bad, honestly.

There not B8 cymbals.and there not inked either they are coated cymbals

I liked the Visions series when they were around but these sound pretty good for what they are. The coating kind of kills the resonance of the cymbal so they decay pretty fast. The 24 inch ride is awesome on it's own, no matter what color. You really can't go wrong for the money if your a starter or flashy semi pro!

Visions for the win! I owned some 2000 Colorsounds back in the 90s. They sounded great, but then I found a 15" Visions thin crash on GC's website a couple years ago for cheap. It sounds so nice, warm, and clear. They were made in collaboration with Terry Bozzio. They pop up on ebaY and Reverb every now and then.

Sure seems like a lot of herd criticism on here. These cymbals sound fine. For the price, what the hell were you expecting?
Feel free to spend $600 on your Turkish Bababoulian Hash Pipe ride, but that's not the market Paiste is shooting for here. If I want top-end Paiste, they have plenty of options.
Colorsound 900s are made from CuSn8 bronze, which is the same alloy used for Paiste 2002 cymbals. If you think 2002s sound bad...well...

Can't go wrong with either. Bear in mind the 24" will take up an awful lot of space so you'll need a wide open gap to accommodate a cymbal of that size. Not to mention a large cymbal bag for transport if you're in a band that plays shows. Things to think about. I would get the 22".

As much as I’ve always been fascinated with coloursound cymbals , (the way they look) since seeing them for the first time when Nicko Mcbrain of iron maiden use them in the 1980s , I cannot deny the fact , they still sound like B8 pot lid junk , the fact that paiste are still trying to sell these crap sounding cymbals is beyond me dude , it’s gonna take more than a coat of paint to sell these things , they sold stuff all of them back n the 80s with the 2000s series i& yet the re-boot 900s series still sound just as bad why haven’t paiste picked up on this , that’s why they will always be playing 3rd fiddle to Zildjan & Sabian when it comes to the market share 🙄

This entire comment is a case study on how to be wrong in every way possible. Nothing said here is remotely true. Plenty of pro drummers (e.g. Aquiles Priester) use CS 900 cymbals. It's not even paint! It's impossible to put into words just how delusional ObsidianGamer here is.
Can you even imagine being so self-absorbed as to use the word "fact" for a blatantly hyperbolic opinion about something you watched one crappy-sounding video of? These idiots never get taken seriously in real life, so they come online to gas each other up. It's hilariously pathetic.
