I agree with you so strongly. The dresses are the most beautiful and they aren’t nearly as overpriced as SYTTD Kleinfeld. Gok is gentle, soft voiced, and EXCELLENT at this job. This really is the very best SYTTD ever.

I've never seen a sweetheart neckline either. I wish one of the examples had more of a free/flowy bottom since she said she was going to do some splits.
I think it's more popular in America because of their culture around proms, homecoming and sweet 16ths (and 15ths for Hispanic communities).

What I liked about those dresses is that they actually looked very natural, the figure and the light fabric ~ there was ease and playfulness there. I'd probably pick this style for myself too, love it!

I didn't like any of those dresses on her , they all looked cheap she has a beautiful figure but none of them suited her , would have liked to see her in different styles , Gok is usually spot on with dresses but this was a miss for me. 😞

I think you have it backwards! The Mom DIDN’T want her to pick a dress that made her look mature.

Hoooly moooly! I'm not a "marriage person" *at all,* but I absolutely adore beautiful things - and this young woman, in that *exquisite* third dress, could be the definition of beauty for all I know. *Wow!* I'm one of those women who can love and be attracted to both women and men, but what I feel when I look at her is not attraction per se, it's a 100% platonic feeling of her being *completely* and *objectively* stunning, and that she and her absolutely *gorgeous* fiance _(or is he her husband now?)_ are simply the perfect couple. They looked *so* happy together, and that fills me with such great joy.

Open your mind. Think of 2 people, in love, who want to declare to the world, their families, friends, colleagues, etc, that they want to commit to one another, in public, celebrating their union. It's a rite of passage that is traditional, a nod to the ancestors, yet it can be done in many ways: one's imagination is the only limit. No, it's not for everyone, but for some it's a declaration of something that is universal, beautiful, spiritual, yet grounded in reality. Let people enjoy what they enjoy!
I agree with you, marriage will *never* be something I'd want for me personally. But I'm not going to rain on anyone's parade just because it's something I wouldn't do. I think people should be able to do whatever and be whoever they want to. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone else it's none of my _(or anyone's)_ business. Just my opinion, though. Everyone's entitled to their own :)
Gok tends to go for the cheap party dress look a lot, even though i get he doesn't stock high end brands so much like the others stores on this show because of his demographics. The first one was the best on her but they were all pretty average to bad.
