At some instances the pitch of Ga appears to be slightly higher with respect to the tanpura. Is it because of the echo effect? Or is it because of separate tanpura track added later? Otherwise this is a gem. A good learning material for all students.

Firstly I want to thank Manali for sharing these amazing compositions in raga Yaman in her beautiful voice which is rich and clear in Aakar. Most of the singers from these gharanas intentionally don’t sing words clearly, thinking that composition will be stolen, but their narrow mindedness doesn’t realize that more and more people will connect if they sing with generosity. I wish Manali included a beautiful composition in Yaman sung by Pt Kumar Gandharva, “Kinare, Kinare kashti bandho”. Kumar Gandharva does not belong to any gharana but to himself, that’s why completely different. Manali, you are too good.
