The biggest issue is he shows way too much remorse. The thing about Kier, Dev, and Boosfer, is that they have no remorse about using the twist. They share the twist towards the end strictly to keep it entertaining. Just because you're friends, doesn't mean you need to have remorse XD
entertainment value. keeps people engaged and makes the moment feel important. while he does exaggerate some of his reactions, he doesnt do so for all of them and that's what sets their group's content apart from cringy minecraft spam and instead is a group of friends having fun and uploading that to TH-cam to share with others who are interested. The shield only offers protection in a certain direction, and the fireball simply hit outside of it. This same thing is why you can shoot an arrow down onto a player and hit them through their shield if they're facing forward rather than up
If you ever want to have something to lord over boosfer and the rest of the gang, I specifically love it when they have you in their videos. You add such a great energy to the group that I feel is missing sometimes. That's not to say their other videos are bad, because Im a huge fan of boosfer, bubbo kier/dev, babblu, and jack. If you want an explanation for the blaze hitting while the shield was up this is why: your character in any games has a hitbox, same for swords, shields, projectiles. The shield too has it’s own hitbox but it doesn’t protect you fully. You can still get hit in the back with a shield up or on the side or even the top of the head and that is where the blaze connected. Just a small portion above your shield that didn’t protect your head. The best way I can help imagine this is like the meme of the guy in full armor protecting against all, but gets the arrow in through the eye line of the helmet. Hope this helped.
The only thing that upsets me about these videos is that when the hunters find out the twist, they use it 100%, while the speedrunner uses it only 25-30% :( But mostly, the videos are always funny and emotional. I like it ^^
I think the low percent of the speedrunner using it is also because they're being chased for most of the time while the hunters have all the time in the world to gather what is necessary.

shields take 5 ticks (0.25 seconds) to start functioning after you start holding it (even when the animation is already done, the animation doesn't matter) this is fixed in new combat snapshots so no delay there but we have to struggle with the delay for now
Next idea: Minecraft Manhunt but there's OP Furnaces One would be a quick smelter, one would require ludicrous amounts of EXP for OP items, one would give ludicrous amounts of EXP, one would enchant, one would give you notch apples if you smelted apples, etc Bring it up with the plugin makers. I'm sick of empathizing with the agonizing slowness of furnaces that just feel so SLOW while you're fighting Kier or someone, and then when you finally reach 5 iron they just steal it from you If ANYTHING, just quick smelting furnaces...
just to try and explain what happened with that blaze and ur shield i think the blaze hit the top of your head. normally you can do this with arrows on other players that are blocking great vid as usual dude :D
To explain 12:20 for you, the shield only blocks attacks that hit you in an area in front of you, this is obvious ofc but it's the reason you were hit. The blaze shot barely flew above the shield hitbox, so it wasn't blocked, and then hit the top face of your hitbox so you took damage.

The reason for the Blaze being able to hit you despite you blocking is because their fireball was above the shield. So it was a headshot. The hitbox for the shield is only in front but not fully above the player, so if someone's blocking and you jump hit them aiming for the head, it'll damage them.

There are two possibilities as to why the fireball ignored your shield. The first is that at the moment it struck your sheild, for some reason your ping went up high enough for it to desync from the world and bypassed the shield. The second is that it struck the block directly above your head and the explosion, which would have been behind you at that point and thus not blocked by the shield, set you on fire from the blast and as such ignored your block entirely. That's all I can think of man.

Yo yellow i got a suggestion for a vid, Minecraft Manhunt but I can break the hunters compasses, basically you make an item with a custome recipe and if you click a mob with it and it makes the hunters compasses point to that mob instead of you, and the only way for the hunters to be able to track you again is to kill the mob. So this would be really useful like you could attach it to a zombie piglin and then they have to kill it and then get bombarded by zombie piglins. Anyways hope you see this, awesome vid too.
