Alpental’s Powder Day on Blacks with Carv 2 Coaching ❄️⛷️

This powder-filled day at Alpental was all about pushing my limits, refining my technique, and facing my fears! With my brand-new Carv 2 system-a smart coaching device with boot sensors and live audio feedback-I focused on skill-building rather than just speed runs down Debbie’s Gold as I usually do.
The morning started with a couple of warm-up runs, getting used to the conditions before heading to the black diamonds. Despite long chairlift lines at both Chair 2 and Internationale, I took advantage of every run, working on early edge change, balance, and precision-all guided by real-time AI coaching from Carv.
Once on Internationale, I retraced the terrifying steep slope that had challenged me the previous day. This time, with fresh powder and a more controlled approach, I conquered it with confidence. Throughout the day, I took on a series of black diamond runs, including:
Upper International - A steep, technical classic.
Adrenaline - Fast and demanding.
Felsen - A tough mix of trees and steeps.
Snake Dance - Tight lines through moguls.
Breakover & Shot 6 - More challenges to refine technique.
With Carv 2’s coaching, I focused on turning technique, engaging both legs as one unit, and adapting my style to moguls and tricky terrain instead of just bombing straight down.
