  • Restored Autio No. 3: The Planets and the Ancient Gods
    Astro-Theology, according to Manly P. Hall, is the archetypal root source for all the religions throughout history. Astrology, Mythology, Astronomy, Cosmogony and various scientific theories are explored to unwrap the mysterious wisdom of the planets and symbolic patterns in the night sky, which were held in such regard by the ancient philosophers and seers.
    This is a very interesting and important series that any serious student of wisdom would want to study. Mr. Hall's take on this subject is geared to a contemporary audience, and for any individual who wants to apply these principles to their daily lives in a meaningful and practical way.
    A preserved audio tape of this lecture series has been acquired and digitized, bringing a much better and listenable recording to enjoy. We thank your for your support: bit.ly/3IAtP3z

      Working on it. I spend 4-5 hours a day reading history, theology, anthropology, mathematics, and metaphysics. It also helps that he participated in the mysteries and great work himself.

    We are lucky to have Mr. Hall's recordings. So many significant people with something to share with humanity, were even before the time of the photograph. If he was born just a bit earlier, we wouldn't have this luxury, at our fingertips.
    Also, people used to have to go thru great lengths to aquire information such as this and we can simply pull it right up. Never before has humanity been so blessed. Yet, it seems the masses have zero interest in wisdom, or in growth. It is so very disheartening to me.
    Although, I am glad you people have such an interest.

    I can’t begin to approach understanding whether the broader western mind could accept these “realities” in the mid-50’s because many can’t/won’t even force themselves to even ponder them TODAY!

    Gnostics have 7 vowels IEOUAMS. In Greek Ioannes in Latin John. Egypt IAO-pitar (ptah) Jupiter
    Vocalize I (eeh) it vibrates the pineal Gland
    Vocalize A (ahhh) vibrates the vishuddha chakra
    Vocalize O ohhh) vibrates the heart chakra

    Does anyone know the titles of the gnostic books from Egypt that he refers to at 7:50 ?

    • @ManlyHallSociety
      @ManlyHallSociety  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Most likely the Dead Sea Scrolls or Nag Hamadi Library, found in Egypt around 1945. The first translations were only available one year before Mr. Hall gave this lecture.
      "The first edition of a text found at Nag Hammadi was from the Jung Codex, a partial translation of which appeared in Cairo in 1956" from Wiki
