I'm so glad you're here! It's time for a postpartum reset. Today's video didn't go quite how I planned - I had so many things I wanted to accomplish but the day turned into me learning a lot about why I'm feeling so burnt out and how productivity can sometimes be toxic. I love that you can acknowledge that you know and understand “caring for your children and family” is the most important thing because as a single person there is nothing more frustrating for me than for someone who has the life I would die for in being a stay at home mom, or even just a mom period, complain all day every day about being said stay at home mom or just mom and the struggles that are unique instead of seeing the huge blessings you’ve been entrusted with. So many single women or women without children who desperately want those do NOT want to hear from a mother how hard their life is with children when they would trade places in a split second just to have the experience or being a mom for 5 min..
The productivity/to do list worth/idol is my current conviction too! We are not alone 🫶🏻

Oh my goodness! I totally feel the "productivity" thing. I am a teacher, but the summer is when I get to be SAHM Lite since my husband works during the summer. Some days are easier than others. Keep your head up, mama! God's got this, and because of that, you got this! :)
Always be honest, it's how people relate to you. You're doing so great as a mom and career woman.
Make a vlog about all kinds of baby things, like how to calm a crying baby, baby care, putting a baby to sleep in a Moby wrap, etc. thanks
I think you’re doing great. Like you said, we shouldn’t value ourselves on what we can get accomplished all the time. As long as we are doing our part and striving to fulfill our needs and those of our family, I think we are on the right track as moms.😊
Your videos are always so encouraging for me as a stay at home mom in the postpartum season as well. Thank you for all of the reminders and realizations you shared, they really helped me reflect on my current mindset. Thank you for your honesty and realness and making me feel less alone in this season/stage of life.
I wish I would have had your channel many years ago when I was a stay at home mom. Back then, if you were a stay at home mom, you were expected to have the perfect house, etc. It was really tough for us stay at home moms. I'm so glad that times are shifting and that isn't the case anymore. Thank you for your realistic vlogs :)
I’m a new SAHM and I’ve really had to let my standards lower to give myself some grace. I have a 19 month old girl and 3 month old boy girl twins! Emma’s channel has really helped me be more gentle on myself! It’s nice to know I’m not alone 💖 I appreciate your perspective and hope you’re giving yourself more grace these days and enjoying your life more than you were able to because of the standards back then 💖 (not trying to say you weren’t enjoying your life or anything but I totally understand burning yourself out to try and keep up with the joneses if you will 🤪) much love 💖

I’m in the throes of newborn life as well! As sweet as this stage is, it is hard!! I feel you on that! Something that I have to remind myself is that this is a season of being present, not productive. You’re doing a great job mama!!
