- Arrived at the Bushcraft Show on Friday afternoon around 4 o clock and set up in the woods for 3 nights.
Met some great people and learnt lots of skills.

Great vid, you guys were camped just along from us I think. At 7:09 you’ve got the briefest shot of my 78 year old Dad and myself chilling out. You guys summed up what I enjoyed so much about the show. Every time you walked past you took the time to say hello & that friendly vibe was true of the whole event. The storm was good fun and we fortunately stayed dry as ground dwellers. Glad you guys had a good show!

Dave was giving loads of very interesting chats there I see...loved the spring fishing trap he was demonstrating,very knowledgeable man. That storm Saturday night was crazy..was singing that night and it went on til way after I got home from the pub. Glad you had a great time mate! Thanks for taking us along with you

Also you mentioned the storm. that night I had been on a serious bender I saw the flashes of lightning but I don't remember anything else I woke up at some point in the morning to see stalls flattened and I was still drunk and couldn't walk in a straight line😂😂😂 it's good fun working for the show I have worked for the show for the last two years and we get to Camp right next to the lake just behind Ben Orfords stall.

Looks like a nice camping experience. Lots of good ideas from others of like kind. Love the stove, that will work great for "hot tent camping". How often are these shows put on for bush crafting ??
I think there are a few shows in different pars of the country but the Bushcraft show is the biggest, its on once a year www.thebushcraftshow.co.uk/ .

Oh that hand drill method is one of those things that I am content with knowing how its done without adding it to my practiced skills. Lol. That has blisters written all over it! Lmao!

Hello there I have only just found your TH-cam channel it came up on my recommendation list. there was that many TH-camrs at the show I couldn't speak to everybody plus I was also working as show staff until Saturday night. It looks like you had a good time at the show I picked up another fire method the bamboo fire saw while at the show I've got some bamboo at home and I've had a go before but the way I was holding the bamboo it kept slipping so I was showing a new method and I managed to get an ember and Fire that quick edited video is also on my TH-cam channel.

What type or brand of tarp are you using ? Looks like a fun time. Looks like you picked up a nice brace and bit drill. Used one for years but i am telling my age HAHA.
Cheers Charles, the tarp I am using is a DD tarp 3*3. The brace and bit drill was a real bargain, got it at the bushcraft show. I like using a cordless drill 👍👍
