Wrote part of my design degree thesis about the FoB back in the seventies.
The guy who became my boss in industry after I left poly in 1979 had been a designer at the festival, think it was in the land and farming section.

The Great Exhibition 1851; Festival of Britain 1951; will London host a Carnival of Britain in 2051. Come on... 30 years to plan it... Chop Chop !!
