I had Tony Hawk Ride on my Xbox 360 as a kid and my brothers and I loved it. They did a great job making the boards durable originally too because it managed to withstand a few years of abuse from three 10 year olds.
One of my favorite facts about those awful iron man games is in the first one they got RDJ to voice Tony Stark but not Iron Man, in cutscenes where Tony wasn’t wearing the suit it was RDJ but the second he put on the suit he would switch voice actors

I played the heck out of the Kung Fu Panda 2 game as a kid. I just absolutely loved it. I recently went back and got the Platinum for it as well. While not the best it still entertained me so much Platinuming it. Only didn’t like collecting all the gold as that was the only tedious part of it

honestly, if it was made for the wii and used wii motion instead of whatever jank they used it would've been a decent game. And ya know ideally a less painful board. Or hell the xbox 360 had their own version. I just can't for the life of me understand why this was a PS3 game when it would've been a hundred times better with a censor bar. And also it could be made cheaper as well by not needing as many electronics since the wii is doing most of the work.
I gotta say, this video was well worth the wait and holy, these games easily give rise of kong a run for it's money. Also, i think i speak for everyone when i say we need a satiire breaking stuff compilation

I like for Tony Hawk ride you implied the devs did the achievement they added to the game. I mean Scot didn't even think some of the max difficulty stuff for five nights was doable. Devs just do things without thinking sometimes. Or don't care if someone can't do it.

I played Ride as a kid and let me just say nowadays it’s jenky for sure compared to what we have today, but back in the day it was game changing! So cool to ride an actual board as a controller! Very good tech for its time in my opinion! Very fun at the time.

I have memories of the first iron man game in that series, it was nearly identical and was actually a lot of fun because it was ahead of its time, it was more open world then it had any right to be in the early 2000s and there were a lot of fun things to do in it. Watching the second one its odd, it feels like a downgrade from the first as far as the controls and the same for everything else, but instead of being ahead of its time like the first one its now behind its time.

JS but the sensors for Tony Hawk Ride didn't work great when it was new either. Brutalmoose has a video on it from a couple years ago and IIRC he played it when it came out and had the same issues as in the video he made years later and the one you made...at the very least, the reviews at the time critiqued how hard it was to get the board working reliably, to the point Tony Hawk defended it on Twitter.

The post-rage clarity do be hitting different sometimes. I swear I sometimes find my chis unlocking and achieving enlightment with how easy I pass some missions after that. To the extent that I then rage again at how hard I had found it. I still think my inability to beat certain things cause glitches love me is payback for my xcom 2 playthrough where I ended up with an invinicible mind controlled enemy who because of me ending the first section of the final area with the mind controlling the enemy ended up sending the enemy in as one of my units permanently.....so yeah maybe it the universe revenge
I couldn’t figure out how to beat the PROTEAN Hybrid for Iron man 2 when I was a kid (and it terrified me so I was already reluctant to go in and try again) so I did the escort mission god knows how many times because that was what I considered to be “fun” at the time. Funnily enough, the achievement where you destroy buildings on mission 3 is what I was doing every time I played in mission 2. I restarted the final part of the mission repeatedly just so I could destroy the buildings over and over again. After I came back to the game years later I beat it, but more importantly did the escort mission again…safe to say I questioned what me back then considered to be entertaining. I mean was it fun to blow up the buildings? Yeah but not the hours I spent repeating that mission just to blow them up all over again.
The second king fu panda was just disrespectful to the first game which was a great game and one of my fondest child hood memories was me and my brother playing that game
I played Kung Fu Panda 2 game alot when I was a kid and it helped get into trophy hunting. I tried to speedrun the game every time to get all trophies and it took me 2 and half hours.
Dude, there are games Ive paid $140 to play (StarCraft 64). $160 is around the price of Devil Summoner 1 on 3DS (a game I think has only gone up in value, but is a great game none the less).

this reminds me of an Iron Man game i have, a PC port of a PlayStation game... one of the most annoying missions involves escorting a truck THROUGH A SANDSTORM... i wound up effectively going through the level twice, one by myself to clear out some of the enemies, then again with the truck. THEN there's a boss battle, which, if i remember, takes place in a room full of fragile containers, and you will FAIL if too many get broken! i might be confusing it with a different boss... oh, right, THAT one has a SNOWSTORM until the boss level! (the Weather effects can lag the game badly) as for the Collectible items, one is hidden in a secret room on the BOTTOM of a giant flying vehicle! AND you're actually SUPPOSED to access the adjacent room, to disable the Shield Generators protecting the giant cannons on top!
Fun fact: The first Kung Fu Panda tie-in game came out a few days before the movie did. That means the first movie is technically a video game movie.

I played Kung Fu Panda 2 game alot when I was a kid and it helped get into trophy hunting.
I tried to speedrun the game every time to get all trophies and it took me 2 and half hours.
I have to be honest, I actually really enjoyed the Iron Man 2 game back in the day.

Dude, there are games Ive paid $140 to play (StarCraft 64). $160 is around the price of Devil Summoner 1 on 3DS (a game I think has only gone up in value, but is a great game none the less).
Please do more horrible Ps3 games I had so much fun watching this 🙏

this reminds me of an Iron Man game i have, a PC port of a PlayStation game...
one of the most annoying missions involves escorting a truck THROUGH A SANDSTORM...
i wound up effectively going through the level twice, one by myself to clear out some of the enemies, then again with the truck.
THEN there's a boss battle, which, if i remember, takes place in a room full of fragile containers, and you will FAIL if too many get broken!
i might be confusing it with a different boss...
oh, right, THAT one has a SNOWSTORM until the boss level!
(the Weather effects can lag the game badly)
as for the Collectible items, one is hidden in a secret room on the BOTTOM of a giant flying vehicle!
AND you're actually SUPPOSED to access the adjacent room, to disable the Shield Generators protecting the giant cannons on top!
