This beautiful Swiss village tour starts in Lauterbrunnen as we travel to the Wengernalp Railway Station and board the train to Wengen Ski village resort. Join us as we explore car-free Wengen village, with spectacular views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Staubbach Waterfalls and the mountains of the Swiss Alps. You will be enchanted by the peaceful churches, traditional alpine houses and shops, Swiss chalets and luxury hotels. Watch the Wengen - Männlichen cable car as it travels up the mountain and take a relaxing walk out to Staubbachbänkli viewpoint with us.
Wengen is the largest mountain village in Lauterbrunnen Valley and a popular tourist destination of the Jungfrau Region, along with Grindelwald, Gimmelwald and Mürren. From the start of this lovely tour the scenery is majestic. The train was a nice surprise, the journey up to Wengen was a joy, to be able to also travel further up on the cable car may be for the more adventurous but just adds to the imagination of the type of life that could be on offer in such a wonderful area of mountains. This is another favourite, it’s now so hard to chose from all the trips you have shown us, our thanks to you both, again x

Hi 👋🏻 They get lots of snow here in the winter, many people visit to ski between December and March, depending on the snow fall. We would LOVE to film in winter, we camped in the summer this year to stay within our travel budget, winter is more expensive, but we hope that with the support of all of our viewers and subscribers, and the growth of our channel this will be something we can plan for the future.
