She tried a mask. She tried covering up with a blanket. She never assumed the cat was the problem. Even after being injured in the eye requiring surgery she never had resentment towards the cat. She never took the easy route and abandoned him. These actions speak to their loving relationship and her character as a human being. I wish them the best.

She knows the poor cat has a condition. It could be some form of nocturnal epilepsy, but I'm not a doctor.

I like that the owner cared so much about her cat she didn't want to abandon it or start showing hate towards it like other owners would do
You can tell the cat loves the owner a lot and depends on her a lot too because of the seizures that he has, he must be so scared that he tries to find comfort by sleeping closer with his owner and feels safe by her presence. Especially when he was left alone in that small room, he must've felt lonely and afraid and suffocating. And when they tried to put him in the cage, he doesn't want to be away from her and the cage might give him anxiety since he moves a lot during the seizure he could get hurt.
Like they are living in a studio house its so small

Cats claws can grip through soft fabric, i have a cat that would knead her claws through anything i was wearing. So sleping under the sheets wouldnt be such a good solution
the cat is really ill, it must be hard for him, he can't sleep, afraid and those seizures seem so bad. his hoomans are the most patient and kind people.

90% of these comments are jokes, what this owners cat has is called: Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy or, he has a sleeping disorder. I study cats, and i know what it has. This is how it works: When a cat has Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy, when it has a seizure, the brain of the cat is out of control that leads to it attacking any object near the place it is having the seizure, the cat does no mean to attack, its something in the brain that controls its actions. Not all cats have FIE (Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy) they usually get it when the brains tissues are damaged or, if you have an elder cat it could happen by low blood pressure or starving brain cells of o2 ( Oxygen ) Ask me some other questions about cats and i will be sure to respond to you ASAP. My cat has seizures before. And then one day, we realized the way she walked was a bit weird so we just thought that she fell from somewhere. Then the seizures gets more often and now she can hardly walk as if she's becoming paralysed. Why is that happening we're so confused

@Natasha Marienthal If your cat was owned by someone else, they might of gone through some sort of bad owner relationship, it also might have to do if it was a stray before. And, your cat licking your neck, he is just showing affection< nothing serious.
i feel so bad for the cat imagine how painful and annoying it is just waking up and hurting and injuring someone you love without being able to control it, and also the owner is also bearing everything and didnt give the cat up this truly shows their bond, im praying for them both

This cat is a really sweet cat. The fact that the cat comes to cuddle with the girl every night shows that it truly cares about her and likes her company! Same goes to the girl. She could have abandoned this cat years ago, give it to somebody else or throw it into the streets like some maniacs do. And yet, she still shows so much love for this cat, and let's the cat sleep with her even if it means she will wake up with cuts on her face. They are both amazing, and I wish them the best!

i think its a small house as u can see there is that room where the girl sleep and the front door whos actually small and not suitable for a cat it will make him nervous and anxious by that small room

With someone who suffers from night terrors, this poor kitty seems to be showing signs of it.
The poor thing might classify something has a traumatic experience and even sleeping it’s worse fears come to life.
I’m not sure what they can do for a cat If that’s what it is. Maybe that feline calming spray you can get at the vets, soothing classical music, maybe keep a video of birds for it to watch. Just something that may relax it so while it sleeps it doesn’t end up in the terror state.
Hope he and the owner get better soon.
You are correct. The vet fixes this issue with medication and aroma therapy. The cat sleeps sound at night again :)

I know she loves the cat but he’s dangerous and will blind her or severely injure her in some other way that could even be worse. He sleeps on her neck. Imagine her bites into it and cuts into something he shouldn’t... he needs to sleep in a crate where he can’t hurt himself or anyone else from now one until they can figure out what’s wrong.

The fact that you took the time to put a hidden camera to look into the real problem with the cat is amazing. So many people would of thought the cat was weird and got rid of it. Please look into natural substance for seizures. Something is better than nothing.
Some of these nature substances don't really work. It's why we made medicines. Some were used for animals first and we discovered they work for humans too.
I hope what even is used it helps the cat sleep. I have never seen a cat sleep jump like that and I had 3 growing up. Miss them all. Especially the middle cat she was 18.

@Rime Sherif that was just my first instinct reaction to this video. honestly in my country there's no home or food to millions of people. There are already hundreds stray cats and dogs roaming around in my city and if this incident took place in my country the cat would have been homeless by now. I know it's sad but it is what it is.

He doesn't attack, when they have seizures their claws, arms, and feet stiffen up and they tend to try to grip things. If this woman had carpet on the floor in that scene, the cat would've been skating around on the carpet because when they seize up they grip and make a running motion with their paws and feet uncontrollably. I have a cat that is epileptic. One night he ran himself straight into a wall so hard even though he was laying down on his side, because his grip on the carpet. I don't get why she does get a separate cat bed. Often when a cat has a major seizure it loses control of its bowels. Beyond hurting herself the cat could also fall from the top of the bed and during a seize, they can't land on their feet.

My cat has seizures since he was 6 weeks old. It's not easy. It's painful, disorienting and messy for the cat. They might defecate themselves during the process, foam at the mouth and become aggressive because they will temporarily lose their sight and become terrified and attack out of pain and fear. I had tried some seizure meds but they cause damage to the kidneys and won't guarantee a long life but I found an all natural solution that works for him. And despite losing his eyesight he's doing great.
Can you give me some advice? My cat starts seizures since she is 5 month and the vet give her medicine (phenobarbital) twice a day but I can't see any development. She keeps having seizure every week and recently it's increase very much. I want to stop the med but scare if she has more seizure. What should I do 😢?

I have an experience in life, a cat needs a cat to calm her nerves, that's what he calls psychological anxiety
I have a dog who has pretty bad anxiety and kept getting into our bathrooms and chewing toilet paper, carpet, and other things up because of his anxiety. We soon got another dog and she helped him so much. He now doesn’t go into our bathrooms and doesn’t chew anything up anymore. Then we got another dog! We now have 2 dogs to help him. Now all my newest two dogs do is chew on him 😅 haha

We have six cats but thank god they are so sweet. And they never attack us nor having a disrorders. Thank god they are sweet and adorable cats and even if we always go to work they still know us as their owner..

It seems to me that when he falls asleep, he either dreams something or has a sleepwalking, and so to Wake up, he bites something, since he sleeps with his guardian, he bites her...I feel sorry for him and the hostess, it's not his fault that he attacks like this, it's just that even when the hostess is not at home, he still bites something like a blanket, and then falls asleep..

The cat stays whole day in a tiny room. Too much stress.
Stress was not the issue, i think it was because low oxygen levels, because it can cause FIE (Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy)

He most likely needs melatonin. I saw this exact problem with a cat who lacked melatonin (a hormone that is produced by our body at night in complete darkness/pitch black) and after they discovered he needed melatonin the problem was solved by giving him melatonin regularly 🥰

Mon chat souffrait de crises d'épilepsie. Lorsque cela lui arrivait, il ne reconnaissait plus, ni les gens ni l'endroit où il vivait. Il fallait absolument le laisser tranquille sinon on pouvait subir une violente attaque. That sounds more like it was a sleeping disorder than seizures.
