Great to see the museum moving forward to take into account the Serpent for these two months. I will def think about adding the night tour to the museum of it is on when I will be there.
Thanks Jeroen for sharing the information on the reopening of the Patpong Museum, it must be very interesting. I take this opportunity to ask you how important is the Jim Thompson House Museum?👍
Are you going to check with the Nepalese embassy in Bangkok if the Serpent is still alive as they last update was 2017 - Sobhraj is reportedly now 77 years old and remains in prison. In 2017, Arab News reported that he had suffered a heart attack and was scheduled to undergo open-heart surgery.
So good to know people like Michael Messner are preserving the little known history of the BKK past. Well done and looking fwd to visiting the Museum.

Nice to see the Patpong Museum opened, but a little bit shame that the exhibition of the Serpent ends already in 2 months. 🙏
I've been there in 2019. It had slightly different exhibits then.
@globaltravelmate Is the museum still closed? I will be visiting in late july 2024. : (
