Welcome to Refissa Day! 🎉 Today, I’m bringing a taste of Morocco into my London kitchen as I cook my all-time favourite dish, Refissa, for the very first time here in the UK! 🇲🇦✨
After graduating and celebrating back home in Morocco, I couldn’t stop thinking about this comforting, flavour-packed dish that reminds me of family, love, and home. So, I packed my suitcase with all the spices and essentials, ready to recreate it from scratch right here in London!
Refissa is a traditional Moroccan dish made with shredded msemen (flatbread), tender chicken, lentils, and a delicious aromatic sauce. It’s pure comfort food, and I’m SO excited to share this journey with you-from prepping the ingredients to tasting and rating my own cooking.
