Thank you SO MUCH for posting grooming Siberians! What a gorgeous boy he is! I know this was posted months ago, but did you happen to include the part where you clipped his bum? I know it's not the most photogenic. Maybe I missed it? We got 2 Siberian girl kittens a few months ago and I was really hoping to see how you held him while you clipped his backside and britches. We have several months until we have to pay attention to grooming them, but trying to prepare myself early, lol! Cheers from the US
Thanks for watching my videos and for taking the time to comment. We don't always film the bum clips due to them as you say not being so photogenic! But some of my videos do show you me clipping around bums and inside hind legs to keep that area neat and tidy and free from cling ons! Some advice for you - start grooming immediately. You can never start too early! In fact, the younger the better to get them used to being groomed. Get yourself a grooming area where you take them to every day just for grooming, no play time! Handle them well, run your hands down their legs, squeeze their tootsies, look in their ears, brush all over, even open their mouths and have a look at teeth etc and if you can do that, you will have the most adorable pusscats. As they get older, they will not think twice about being handled. Just be careful as they are young, that they don't try to bite the brush and play. If they do that when at the grooming area, just be firm, and do not engage in play time there. You do not want them relating the brush to biting. You are asking for trouble if you do particularly as they get bigger and stronger.
