@@无名-c5q2k I am very new to creating ROM hacks for Streets of Rage 2. There are hardly any tutorials on TH-cam or in some corners of the internet on how to make ROM hacks for this game. There are some aspects of creating the hack that I need to improve, such as editing the Hex codes to modify character movements and ROM texts, like the opening story and character names shown below portraits. When I tried this with the game ROM, the game crashed. The only thing I know how to do is replace the main character sprites with sprites from MUGEN or another website. If you have time, could you watch or play my hacks and then tell me what I should do to create better hacks?
Do you know how to remove the portraits and names shown below them? And how can I edit hex codes to give all characters (except Skate Hunter) the ability to run and adjust their physics, like the speed of special attacks, jump gravities, etc.? Also, I saw what was said in the video you sent me via the link. Editing the codes to change the names shown below the portraits appears to be challenging and demands expertise.
Editing the opening story seemed easy, but it caused the game to crash and only display a red screen. Maybe I should do this again, but with an unmodded game ROM.
I attempted to implement Shoryuken in the game's ROM, but it appears that I am not proficient in editing script resize files. Before doing this, I implemented the code from another hack into my ROM.
