Cherokees don’t have leaf springs
@@ethanrowland9220 yes they do. They just obviously did a 4 link in the rear to eliminate them. So it actually is a perfect video. 😉

Have done this full size and the vid was just so like it is, brought back the times when I was there, the mud, water, failed climbs, and all the rest, the axle articulation was superb, parabolics or a coil conversion to get that at the rear for me but it looked great.
Just starting in the scale hobby and don't know of anyone else in my area who does this, although the vehicles are not that cheap when you break it just pick it up and put it in the boot of your car, then fix it in your shed or attic with a cup of tea at your side, what could be better!😀.

very scale ultra realistic have fun cleaning the mud off those rigs. does all those lights, extra weight, portal axles, and bigger meats decrease your run time? we used to have like five or six and would still be putting them in ice water cause they would get hot.

Awesome video and builds! On the small chance you see my comment would you recommend the gmade or axial chassis/ preference due to? I've been into rc crawling and racing for a long time and my buddy is looking to make a Cherokee very similar to yalls and we're looking at both these frames and they both seem to be great options but there is always differences. On the chance you reply thank you in advance and this is the best side by side of the two at work!

If you compare the two chassis, the GS02f has a transmission in the front, so it's better to fit a scale body.I think GS02f and SCX102 have similar exl width. The disadvantage of the Scx102 is that the heavier the body gets, the more it tilts to one side when driving. But both chassis are good to drive and enjoy. Have a nice day today. Thank you.

Thanks for watching my video, friend. The Silver Cherokee's bumper is a bumper that was originally installed on the body. There are two types of bodies for the 1/10 Cherokee XJ. Like the silver Cherokee that appears in my video, there are two bodies: a version made by Team Raffee that has no overfender and a front bumper, and a version that is not equipped with an overfender or bumper. As it is written in my video description, all of my cars put a little oil on the shock and made the body a little heavier. And most of the video is edited at 0.5x speed. So I think a more realistic feel comes out of the suspension. Thank you for a nice day today.

Can you do a video tutorial how to get the suspension like that soft and to act the way it does?
Thanks for watching my video friend. I couldn't make a video of the suspension setup. Because the suspension setting may require frequent adjustment and setting as much as you are satisfied with. First I add a few drops of shock oil just to lubricate it. And while checking the movement by attaching weights to the body and chassis, I set the body to be heavier or a little lighter. Where did you get the light kit from?

Do I remove both O-rings?
I don't remove the o-rings on the shocks. The body shakes a lot when the O-ring is removed. I don't know what color Cherokee's bumper you're asking, but the white Cherokee uses the SCX10 2's front bumper, and the silver Cherokee's front bumper is a body that is included as a part when you purchase the existing body. If you search eBay for a 1/10 Cherokee body, you will find several types, but there will be sellers selling Cherokee bodies that are not overfender versions. You can check it out there and buy it.
