Please.. I want to sew this on a as a gown, now my question is, do I have to put that curve at the up? Cause when I get to put it, when fixing to my half length.. it would give me trouble. Can you tell us why the lining was cut by 3 inches? And how did it still fit the length of the skirt after cutting those 3 inches?
It was cut by 3" so it drags when fabric in and give a clean hem. Allowance was kept on the main skirt pattern so it won't affect it

Why did you cut two notches on the top fron half if the skirt? Also did you use both interfacing and lining under the skirt?
I cut the notch at the top to indicate the dart point.
I used interfacing only on the fabric
You didn’t tell us whether we should add 2 extra inches for people with hip 41 and above for the second side you took 6 inches and 5 inches at the length for the slit
