Considering Fromsoft takes a lot from ancient mythos, it is sort of fundamentally built from a male perspective. On the otherhand to play devil's advocate, the player character cannot achieve power WITHOUT a woman to bestow it to him, so he is indebted to his maiden, he/she may go and fight but are powerless without their maiden.
What did Fromsoft mean by this? Jokes aside, funny video and well thought out. GJ.
