Love this movie. It is sad but full of love. I wish they would make more to this movie; like when they are out of school, and living together as a couple, with an awesome story line. Both guys are handsome and love the way they fit together as a couple.
This exists in the manga, actually. There's 2 or 3 more volumes that were left unadapted because Dai and Mao said that they decided to stop after the 5th movie.

Cris Darger actually, I just read this in a forum so this is neither authenticated nor reliable, Dai-chan was already chosen to act as Gii, or in other terms, the director already had him in mind when plotting for the second Takumi-kun movie, what they haven't thought of was who will act as Takumi. Due to this, they opened first the auditions for the supporting roles and Mao initially auditioned for Morita's role, but when the director saw him, they must've felt that he suits the role of Takumi best and as you can see, they were not disappointed. 😊
