My family and myself lived in the 1600 block of East Oliver. I was 11 when we moved in 1989 to South Carolina to where my grandma was from because she was scared one of us would be killed because the violence was so bad. I remembered when we moved there from Bradfort St. she thought it would be safer because our home was across the street from a church but she found out real quick when a man was killed almost right in front of the church that it didn’t matter. There was a playground behind our home on Oliver that was full of used dope needles and fiends getting high in broad daylight. There was nowhere a kid could be a kid there. It was terrible. I’m glad the rest of my childhood was good but we had to move to South Carolina in order for that to happen. 😢 RIP Dawson Family 🕊️🙏🏾♥️

“Snitches get stitches” should only be g code for those that chose that life not for those that are working citizens taking care of their family

If you believe the official story, in this case, then I also have some oceanfront property, in Nebraska, that you might be interested in.
I guarantee that Mrs Dawson, or someone in that family, saw something that they shouldn't have seen ... probably involving the police, or the BPD Intelligence Unit.
Who brings the flood of heroin and cocaine into Baltimore? The poor Black Community doesn't have the logistical means, the protection, or the self-interest to traffic tons of illicit substances, from Latin America, or Central Asia, into Baltimore.

It's gotten worse. They don't even board them up anymore. There are areas where complete square blocks have been demolished.

he said snitches get stitches its frowned upon, its somebodys freedom... yet this woman wanted her kids raised in a drug FREE area, so the Dawson's was not entitled to longevity and freedom?

It shouldn't be illegal, to off someone who's a threat to the public. LAWS are a PROBLEM.

8:40 Absolutely domestic terrorism! this community conversation was so necessary! My mouth was on the floor hearing the details. It didn't register the police, prosecutor, and judge's failure to act after the firebomb murder attempt AND the community's failure to band together to protect their children from this maladaptive individual, to get politically active and fight for resources in their neighborhoods. So many levels to unpack in this tragedy. RIP to the Dawson Family
