There's a bit of reading between the lines of Socrates death that doesn't get mentioned much. He was the key influence and teacher of the heads of the 30 Tyrants that sieged Athens. Part of the truce agreement was that no other than the leaders of the 30 could be tried for the insurrection or anything related to it. But plenty of the Athenian elite knew how much Socrates had to with what happened. So they just strummed up some charges to stick it to Socrates. And it seems like Socrates wne tout of his way to be found guilty and even face death. He didn't really defend himself much and he had several chances to walk out of Athens. He pretty much chose suicide out of curiosity. Just my take. Great episode!!
This podcast was very enjoyable and I learned some new things thanks to you. Can you please spell me the name of the Serbian priest you that was also a philosopher which one of you mentioned in this podcast? It was something with Petr.
a sol separate from the source post mortem is a ghost and is not in heaven but hell.. sols that dont make it back to the source are bound up in the earth do to earthly attachment.. Christian theology is not truth.. its the noble lie as in a 2nd hand interpretation of reality

Hello!
after Christ,we don't need a philosophy.
living in a secular world with out philosophy leaves you enslaved to the devil

@@Bojidar07There is nothing wrong with philosophy, but without God it is worthless. Philosophy is how we can understand God.

The Orthodoxy theology is the truth. it is not made by humans, but by God. Something different than the philosophy.
