The stall where you were looking at that microphone had some chrome classic car badges, Oldsmobile and something else I think I saw. These are ALWAYS worth looking at, classic car aficionados don't want to put chinese-made replica badges on their restoration projects, they want the real deal so genuine parts like badges and trim pieces will always sell, usually for good money and are the easiest things to list, store and pack. For an example, I picked up a chrome Morris Mini badge for £3-ish. I took about 5 or 6 photos of it because there literally isn't enough to the product to warrant taking more, it sold within about 5 weeks for £35 and in terms of posting them out, they don't need a ton of packaging or special wrapping either. Classic car badges and trim 👍 you don't really need any specialist mechanical or vehicle knowledge for stuff like that either, often it has a part number stamped on it which you can just google and it will tell you what vehicle its for and where it should go.
Yoooo peep that 0:48 from Jasmin - I don't think most would pick up on that subtlety but that mentality helps TEN FOLD in a space where so there's so much uncertainty. Much more than positive thinking, it just impacts how you approach a garage sale/reselling in general. Another reason ya'll succeed consistently, keep killing it homies
100% man cool that you picked up on that. We did find some quality stuff in the op shops as well so keen to share that part. Appreciate the support ❤️🙏
Yea I forgot to have another look at that one but he did say he was looking for $25 for those so thought I couldn’t get him down low enough... always look at service books some go for good $🙏
350 for a wii. I would have said 'wow if this is a great deal then the $16 one I saw at cash converters must be the deal of a lifetime. I have to go quickly before someone buys it and I would then have to pay $334 more for your good deal. Love the garage sale vids. Keep it up.
Good score on the PYRO duelling pistols. From the 1950’s / ‘60’s, PYRO model kits sell anywhere from $AU 30 - $100. I found the exact model you have in the same un assembled condition in its original box from Ohio selling at the moment on the bay for $29.95 but to the right person or collector you could get way more than that. Might be a long tail item but worth waiting for a decent price.
Awesome thanks so much for the info I hadn’t got around to doing anymore research on them yet so that is much appreciated, I thought the where pretty cool 🙏
2AussieThrifters it does ok... a year ago it was a beauty along with wiggles and ABC of kids videos, but all have died off and take awhile now, but will sell 👍🏻
Some of these garage sales resemble a weekend retail shop. Any idea how to find garage sales as in the past they used to advertise in the local paper, not any more! Lovely video, thank you.
Haha yea some of them were a bit expensive, i look on local garage sale fb pages, gumtree and FB marketplace there is a garage sale finder app but there isn’t a lot posted on there
The reseller videos where they say "LOL I MADE 200$ PROFIT," pissed people off. Like no hate on resellers..except when they pick goodwill or other thrift stores clean. It sucks for people who literally just wanna wear some nice clothes for cheap...
Me and my daughter just got rid of two big boxes of VHS tapes. In their original case 90% of them were in close to Mint Condition. We put it outside and got rained on so we just threw it away.
Ivonne Anderson definitely worth a look a lot of them aren’t worth much but if you can find like old rock AC/DC etc can be worth it... we sold a specific U2 cassette about 2 months ago for around $80. Thanks for watching ❤️
@@2AussieThrifters 😲 I didn’t know this, ive just been scanning barcodes (I mainly buy new) and see who my competitors are & see if I can sell for less & still make a profit
Captain OpShop Nerd I actually didn’t even notice the sign as I was looking down at the table but I probably still would of asked incase the missed a decimal place lol 😝
Bucks Toys & Collectables haha yea didn’t look like much had moved that was pretty late by the time we got to that one so heaps of people would have walked past those items. Oh well you can’t win them all. Thanks for watching 🙏
You can always leave your mobile number and what your interested in and price.. Sometimes at the end of the day they realise it is better off to money in their pocket than something they do not want.
The yellow fishing reel looked like a alvey side caster(not sure if was) but really popular brand! Aha would of been interesting to see what he was after for that ahaha
Oliver S thanks Oliver we actually tried filming one last weekend but I had my thumb on the mic lol so will try again this weekend 🙏, Thanks for the support
I always wonder how much stuff people have left at the end of the day when the prices are high, I mean why gave a GS if you won't negotiate or put GS prices on items.
You did good on prices, but some of the prices, wow, very high. I'm not sure but i thought there were some Polly Pockets at the second sale. If you find them, Polly Pockets are selling really good right now on eBay.
2AussieThrifters oh wow, I literally didn’t think we had too. 😅 or maybe it’s because I’m barley making anything lol. But thank you for being honest and transparent :) you two actually inspired me to start!
Genny Rose technically you don’t have to declare it until you turnover $10,000 a financial year but the tax office can determine you are running a business before then if you are going out with the purpose to buy and resell. So best off doing it by the book. Thanks for the support and glad we could help you get started 🙏
Dont you hate it when people dont price things and then they stand and watch you 🤔 also finding a polite way to put it back after they tell you what they want for it🤣
Every time I watch your TH-cam vids your camera is not angled correctly we mostly miss out what things look like when you are there Movement is way to fast also spoils the look of the adventure hunt
Hey! how's it going just want to let you know. I enjoy the video I'm new here. Thinking about joining your channel. I really like live thrift store videos to. I make some of those later.
Hi Guys, thought an entertaining video could be going through your worst pickups that have gone straight to the death pile lol all us re sellers have been there before!
Great video guys, guess you didn't find the gold bar in that wii bundle then? I mean, I'm assuming there must have been one for them to be asking that price! The Minnie Mouse phone looked pretty cool but I'm glad you didn't pick that microphone up, it looked like it had AliExpress written all over it!
The Mad Tatter haha I must have missed that gold bar damn 😂. Yea I thought about the Minnie Mouse phone but it was plastic and poorly made unfortunately. Thanks for the support
Do you see anything we missed along the way?
an overpriced wii!
Camilla haha 😂 Yea I’m glad we missed that one lol

The Mad Tatter awesome I didn’t notice them at the time, that why I love people pointing stuff out building that knowledge but by bit.
Thanks again
You missed the pokemon cards at the very start. Hard to say if there were any good ones, but the way they are now...

also 4:59, did you end up looking at that Pajero Service Repair Manual? Looks like a commodore one next to it too

2AussieThrifters bloody oath man 👍🏻 and the will sell 👌🏻 and bonus... u can watch them too 😂👍🏻
THE AUSSIE VHS THRIFTER that’s the real reason I bought it got a bit of a thing for purple dinosaurs 🦖 lol
The plastic 'chart' you mentioned with the parts for the pistol is called a 'sprew' believe it or not. 😀
Cherrytree Blossom haha there you go learn something new I didn’t have a clue what they called that, thanks for watching 🙏
i concur

Aw great, hope you have a good one and the op shops are good to you this weekend 🙏
What do you use to look up items while out thrifting? An app? Website?
Hey Lani, just eBay app solds you can filter by this within app
