It looks like she's using Cometeer coffee pods. I've never used them personally because they are pretty expensive but I have used Java House liquid coffee pods that use similar technology & I highly recommend 😀
I am pretty sure that soaking the nuts not only softens them to make them easier to blend, but it also removes some of the acids in them that can cause discomfort / indigestion when consumed. I think a chunk of the acidity that is broken down by soaking the nuts remains in the left over water. So in theory, dumping the water and rinsing them helps to make sure you’re not just immediately consuming the enzymes released by soaking them 🤷♀️ In short, it can just help with our body’s digestion of nuts in general to soak and rinse ‘em first 💕

I LOVE them! They have such a unique flavor compared to espresso on my machine. I love both options, but I pick what I want depending on the flavor I’m hoping to get in the drink. They are kinda expensive so I don’t use them every day, but I think they’re worth it
