As promised, the pricing for the Nord 4 is as follows: 12GB + 256GB: £429 / €499 16GB + 512GB: £529 / €599 And there isn't an 8GB+128GB version as I incorrectly noted in the video!
nobody needs 16gb, but plenty of people need 512gb storage, I would be perfectly happy with 12gb + 512gb which is a category that should exist but no, they force everyone to pay 100$ more even if u only want more storage.
Ordered my black Nord 4 512GB+16GB on the Lunch Event day soon as it came available for pre-order. I've paid for it £429 after the discounts + the 100w charger as a free gift and additional case with a 30% discount for £16.99

Just for context, Snapdragon 7+ gen 3 ~ snapdragon 8s gen 3~ snapdragon 8 gen 2 . All three are similar in cpu performance with slight differences in GPU & ISP performance. And yes , Qualcomm f**ed up naming scheme .
In India we have this phone launched for INR30,000 i.e. GBP300 for the 12Ghz/256GB version which is a great value offer given that we get the charging brick in the box in India and 6 years of update service by OnePlus. I am a big fan of OnePlus, had OnePlus 3T, 4T, Nord 3CE but this is the best-looking OnePlus till now. I don't think there is any mid-range Android phone that can beat Nord 4 in terms of design. iPhone sure looks stunning but I don't think it makes sense to buy a phone so costly, I would rather put the money in a mutual fund or spend it on some study course. OnePlus Nord 4 is perfect in every aspect.
Yeh, all metal bodies for smartphones is not a particularly good idea if you want a good signal, because the metal body effectively acts like a Faraday Cage and disrupts the phone signal. That's why most smartphones have a metal frame and glass body. I do like the look of the phone though, it reminds me of the HTC One M8 smartphone I once owned about 10 years ago. It had a metal body too but with outer visible plastic antennae lines built into the design. But I wouldn't buy the Nord 4 just for its looks, I'm a bit of a specs guy and the specs are a bit too mid-tier for me...
@@maherm7861 what's not true..? I don't think I said anything negative about the HTC One M8, and I never mentioned the M9 at all..! I said metal is not great for a phone signal, that's correct, and I pointed out that my HTC One M8 had external plastic antenna. This was to aid the signal because the body was metal, also accurate. Check your HTC M9, probably has the same antenna which helps improve the signal. I actually enjoyed my HTC One M8, it worked fine but wouldn't have without the external antenna, because it had a metal body. What's not true..?
At last an all metal phone. Shame that 8mpx wide camera. I thought One+ will get rid of it at last. It would be great to have smaller version of this phone something like 6.1 or 6.2.
@@avinandanmondal4017 yep. Muahahahahaha hahahahahahaha! I am old and I only text (occasionally) and call. The best joke is when I go to my mobile carrier and they keep trying to sell me one of the new fancy phones, on a contract. It is always hilarious to me...

Apparently there is a 128GB+8GB version for the Indian market only.
@@kae2678In India there is 8+128 8+256 and 12+256 also there isnt 16+512 option
WAY TO EXPENSIVE get a poco f6
I picked up the 16/512GB Nord 4 for £444 on Amazon yesterday. More than happy with that.
Copied design from Wd external hard disk 😂😂
That's what I was thinking 😂
I was going to say Google pixel 1
100 watts fast charging without charging brick? Removing that thing inside the box is probably the worst mobile trend ever.
Yeah, although they do currently offer it for free as a gift

It is only because of an EU regulation. 😢
It reduces e-waste. I simply don't need any more charging devices in my house.
@@Daz555Daz Increase their profits you mean?
Probably the best looking one+ phone I’ve seen yet. Great video.

@Manmade023 lol 😂 , 8s gen 3 is made by TSMC on their 4nm node (same for 7+ gen 3 )
No. The "+" means upgrade, and the "s" means downgrade. So gen7+ is a better value offer than gen8s.
@@HontuZindabad yes , basically
7+ gen 3 = underclocked 8s gen 3 with weaker GPU and isp .
That 429 one looks like great value
Reminds me of the OnePlus 3T. I loved that device, I would gladly sacrifice wireless charging for more metal bodies on phones
I'm using 3t till now....7,5 years
Ich habe mein Nord 4 gestern bestellt , nach deinem Video war ich überzeugt.

Love to hear more from you about Nord 4 again sometime in the future!
Hi Mark, thank you for the pointer to this review you provided me yesterday 🙏👍
😂 that Dariusz Tech thumbnail! Gotta love the Nord 4... Great phone!
Hahahaha!
He's just copying me😂😂
@@DariuszTech haha 😄 😆 but you're the OG
How does it compare to the 12r?
I currently have a Oneplus 7T. Would this be worth upgrading to. Is the camera going to be better or worse?
Exactly what i want to know,. Im also using the 7t,. So if anyone has the answer, let us know 😛😎
I wish mid rangers would do away with the lower end chip and use last Gen's flagship chip!! 5500mah battery with last year's SD gen2 😍😍😍
Hi, please could. you mention whether phones are flicker-free in your reviews? It makes a critical difference to some of us Thank you
Performance any good? I dislike curved screens like on the regular 12

Is 12gb ram, 512gb memory and 100 fast charge and snapdragon 7 gen 3 for 400 bucks that mid tier?
Total nostalgia Thank you 1+ ❤❤❤
What's the video recording specs? Can the ultrawide record 4K 60FPS?
Only the main camera. The ultra wide can't. But considering the price it's normal. You get more than just a 4K video in general.
I know you're not a car youtuber, but please can you do a video on the Goodwood FOS?
Check out Mark Ellis Motors on Instagram 😉
No gorilla glass?
Beautiful Phone. Superb Price for such a phone but why no wirelss charging why. So sad about that.
I think because it's metal
