Voltei no tempo no Natal de 95 quando tive o prazer de jogar em casa essa obra de arte e ouvir essa trilha sonora maravilhosa que saudade que tempo bom e que jogaço.
I like how trebley these old CD recordings sound. Killer Instinct's "Killer Cuts" CD soundtrack has the same EQ signature (see track "The Instinct" in particular) lots of high frequency treble sizzle. That was the new sound in the 90's cause vinyl and cassette were lacking in high frequencies so it was hi tech to be hearing all this clear high resolution treble. Supposedly the treble boost is unintentional due to the recording equipment being already pre adjusted to artificially boost treble to counteract the lack of high frequencies on cassette and vinyl. So when CD came along and was actually able to reproduce all the high frequencies up to 44khz it sounds extra trebley. Or something like that.
Hearing this for the first time in well over 25 years and it brings back so many awesome memories. 🙌
man this song gets better the more you listen to it, it's a real sensation
This track and this game is the very reason I love to play fighting games. Not SF, not MK, not SNK. This.
here’s hoping we get a VF6 one day, and the music is just as good 😢

You only hear 18 seconds of this 5 min track in the game.
