- Citronella Farming: Pwedeng Kumita ng 3.3 Million sa Isang Hektarya is a success business story of Al Dawah Farm or Al Dawah Producers Cooperative in Lopez, Quezon.
The cooperative established in 2018. Its main purpose is to offer high-quality products and services and also to give livelihood to the local farmers and to all Filipinos.
The cooperative is focused on producing essential oils. Currently, it can produce Citronella and Elemi Oil but the plan is to offer a variety of essential oils such as Ylang-Ylang, ginger oil and many more. Moreover, Al Dawah Farm is currently constructing their biggest distillery facility to serve better their customers.
The cooperative also partnered with farms in neighboring provinces such as Batangas to further increase the production of citronella and other essential oils.

Nagtatanim rin po ako ng citronila, at ang isang pares na tinanim ko ay naging 56 piraso sa loob ng anim na bwan, at iyon ay tumutimbang lamang ng isang kilo, kasama na yung katawan ng citronila.

Kapag farmer dapat may sariling kang distillation kahit maliit lang incase lalayasan ka ng buyer ikaw na lang magprocess magiging value added pa yung produkto mo ay mas mahal kaya huwag iasa lahat sa buyer dapat talaga may plan B ka.
