I love everything you did today. I think your mirror would look good painted to match your wicker coffee table and or your baskets. That color would be just enough to tie it together and give the white a bit of contrast. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love homemade food for our pets as much as we possibly can. My border collie came to me vaccine injured and had every skin problem and allergy like crazy! Homemade food with herbal vitamins and supplements made ALL the difference! She made it almost 14 years and I don’t think she would have on a store bought diet. I hope to gradually do the same for my cats, which are trickier than dogs because they need little to no carbs. We already do boiled chicken (long simmered to get bone broth) but somebody forget to tell my kittens that shouldn’t like hooman food, haha! I always love how you put things together. It always feels cozy but well done.❤️

I would paint the mirror frame a mat black then sand the edges and rub antique dark wax to seal it. Just my opinion. Your home is so beautiful and I love how you decorate.TFS

I like your mirror frame white with the accents you have around it. But if you want to paint them, I think a light gray or driftwood/weathered colour similar to your woven ottoman

The mirrors on your piano are gorgeous. I agree that the mirrors, where they are, need some sort of color on them to help them stand out better. If you'd like to paint them, consider using the same color that is on your lanterns that you have on the floor beside the piano, or the color that is on the hutch. Then the colors from the hutch, lanterns, and upholstery on the ottoman will be a good compliment to each other. This way, the eye will flow from one area to the other more easily, in my opinion anyway. I look forward to seeing what you decide to do with them.

What a clever idea to use a tension rod to hold your copper items. I wish I could trade furniture pieces with a friend or relative. You would feel like you bought new furniture without paying for it. I think the bird prints in the black frames really do go nicely with your black hutch.

Hi Amy! So glad to come across your video and let you know you have been missed. Everything looks so pretty. I actually was changing some things around myself today. I put away all my winter evergreens and took out my faux greenery plants and some florals. I am so done with winter! It's fun to change things out for this in-between time of year.

Your home is lovely. I am a first time visitor, but just subscribed. I am glad to see someone who appreciates those old pieces. I cherish everything from my great grandmother, grandmother, and mother. Nothing is hidden away either.
On the question of color to paint the mirror. You know the obvious "matchy matchy" would be black and it would be beautiful.
It is however not how I roll. I like the pop of unexpected.
I would paint it either a matte finish gold or bronze. A metal color would definitely pop in your beautiful white and black home. Try the unexpected. If you don't like it, it is just paint. Change is easy.

You should stain the mirror the same color as the staircase. Or you could paint it black so it would match the buffet you have in the dining area. Just a thought!

Hi Amy! Love your beautiful home! How about taking some sand paper to those mirrors. There might be some pretty wood under there. Maybe take almost all the white off, but leave just a bit in the crevices. It would go great with those candlesticks!
Your home is beautiful. Try the Ruggable rugs. I have 3 and I love them. They are a bit pricey but so worth it as you can wash and dry them.

Paint the mirrors with mineral chalk paint from Walmart it’s a taupe color and use Annie Sloan dark wax over that it makes a Restoration Hardware look and would bring warmth to that space

I just had to tell you...that tall coffee pot you recently found is the exact same one my 92 year old mom has. It was my parents first full set of everyday dishes she purchased around 1954! She still uses them every day! If I remember, I think the stamp says "Colonial". She has all the dishes to match the set. She is giving them to me when she is "done" with them. I just love them. 😊
I know she will appreciate the fact that younger people enjoy the set too.
