Yay a new video!! FYI, the Mizuho CMP527 is squirrel/horse hair (not goal); so it grabs color a bit better than if it were mixed with goat. Also do you have the Hakuhodo J146? I think the J146 is supposed to be a dupe for the WG 19 brush. Also I found another brush you might want to try as a possible larger GSN-9 on CD Japan if you were still interested in finding a brush slightly larger than the GSN-9. I'ts not as big as the Eihodo one; it''s just slightly wider than the GSN-9. I'll have to DM you!
That’s horse hair??!! I couldn’t tell. That makes the brush very different from my other brushes. It’s still so soft and flexible. And no I never bought the j146. I figured I didn’t need one. Yes I need recommendations. I still have points for cd Japan and having a hard time choosing. ESP if it performs like the gsn-9 but is slightly different.
Thank you!! I bought a couple of Hakuhodo brushes that you recommend. I especially like theJ246HSBkS. For $17 and soon price increase, I placed another order and bought extras of that brush plus a feee others. I have the Z1 and it’s like yours and not perfectly round if that helps
I’m so glad you noticed the Z1 not perfectly round. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be. Good call with Hakuhodo. I won’t be purchasing anymore after the price hike.
This is so helpful! Thank you! 💕 And I'm so excited to see how you'll continue to use and like your new Z1. I've been curious how a brush like the Z1 would compare to something like the Z8 for a diffused application.
You are welcome. I have the Z8 as well, so I’ll do an update after using it more and show other ways to use it as well as comparisons to similar brushes. The application is very subtle. It kinda reminds me of the Bisyodo B-p-2 in that it’s so light to the touch
Thanks so much for the video! Super helpful since I do have similar eye shape and size to yours. I will definitely pick up the Houkodou GS-2 seeing how versatile it is. Hope to see videos around your essential brushes when traveling and if you have any recommendation on travel cases/rolls/pouch for fude.
Wonderful video my friend. I totally agree about the Rephr eye brushes being great alternatives to the Haku & WG eye brushes. I’m having a hard time deciding what brushes I want, if any- before the haku increase. I may get the J246HS I believe I remember you loving that one. 💖
I have and love all the brushes you’ve demonstrated. Yay you got the Z1! It’s such a wonderful brush. Out of all of my large squirrel powder brushes it is the most unique because it is round and dense yet fluffy. Be careful… you may become addicted and start collecting many now 😂. There is just something special about them.
Could you review the sonia G mini booster and mini cheek brushes? These 2 are currently in my cart, but i am not sure if i need them.. i do lack a good outer V eye brush as i am using worker three as a multi purpose brush for a one&done eyeshadow look usually
I demo the mini booster in my Sonia G eye brushes video. Its a pretty recent addition and I'm still learning how to use it. It's firmer and more intentional than the Wayne Goss 19 and Hakuhodo blending brushes. I do still prefer the Hak J5529 or the Rephr 13 because I'm more comfortable using them. Ask yourself whether you like a firmer or fluffier blending brush.
@@brushjunkie6384 you said it perfectly...it comes down to personal preference on which type of brush feels more comfortable on one's eyelids. It's not just about the type of bristles, but also about the shape and which shape one prefers, as well as other properties like fluffy vs firm! Thank you @Alicia for asking the question and thank you @Brush Junkie for answering it.
Z series is truly a no brainer series for best grey squirrel hair face brush✨
I like to watch your videos for several times 😊 every time i find something new for me. I’m glad I found your channel
Thank you so much. I love hearing that and welcome to the family!
Thank for another great video Traci!! Omg that Z1 looks so beautiful and luxurious 🥰. I really want one!!

Could you please share the link to the Facebook group mentioned? Thank you
Yes thank you for reminding me. It's there now
(Commenting as I’m watching) but congratulations on purchasing the Z1! It really is such a luxurious, wonderful addition. Very happy for you! 😍
Thank you. I’m very excited to have it. It seems like they use the best of the best hairs to make the Z1.
Omg as I’m watching, you’re now mentioning the Haku J246HS you mind reader you. 💕💕

I’m torn on whether to do another Haku order too. I see you get Hakuhodo from another retailer. Why is that? Is it the custom handles?

It's such a joy to use. Which other brushes like that do you have and recommend?
