Hi Bonnie. Nearly finished. My throw is about 47 wide (my adjustments for 8ply wool was slightly out). I have started the weave trim. Can I extend this to get my length longer? How many inches was your edge from woven to picot edge? And how many inches can I do to balance my throw? Will be a Christmas gift to my daughter. Cheers, Yvonne.
That’s really your personal preference on length, but I would go with what you think looks good. You can always swatch a small section on the end (go back and forth on the edge with small rows to get the depth you like) instead of working full rows and having to rip out later.

i did the other side with knurl and then did bottom
