@@lem0nk3t yup exactly. Its because Hutao is a very overpowered pyro dps, that people think Diluc just sucks eventhough he doesn’t actually. Hutao is indeed alot stronger, but then again Diluc is still viable and balanced.

Hu Tao is very good at flexing damage, but I never found her to actually be fun in-game. Ganyu on the other hand, despite just constantly charging (unless you have constellations), can be fun in-game, because I thought it was fun sniping people from afar at lv1. I just don't understand people who call Diluc's playstyle "boring" but then recommend characters such as Hu Tao and Ganyu, arguably the most boring characters in the entire game.

if you play him a lot then certainly! note that if you buy welkins, you can use the upfront crystals from welkins to pay for the skin, which makes it actually pretty cheap depending on how you evaluate the crystal portion of welkins. a basic calculation (valuing the 300 crystals as worth .50 since 300/3000 is .1) actually puts the skin only at like $3.50 or so. i had some crystals from past welkins n then i stacked 3 more welkins (which i was going to buy anyway) and that paid for the skin. i love it so much, i initially thought it wouldnt make any difference as i love the original diluc style already, but once i have the new skin on, it makes me sooooo happy XD

Venti and Klee also got indirectly nerfed because Venti's burst used to be able to suck up all of Klee's scattered bombs. On top of that, Venti also got his burst cost increased by 50%. People basically got scammed by Hoyo and are pissed AF lol. At least they don't directly nerf characters anymore.
The Difference Between Normal Diluc and Red Dead of Night Diluc is that He now sounds like Giorno from JJBA, yeah i know that Diluc share the same Japanese Voice actor of Giorno Giovanna who is Kensho Ono.
imo he still sounds like giorno with base skin, but in other media, you sometimes can't recognize it's kensho ono, unless you're an avid seiyuu enjoyer. voice actors are amazing
After playing this game for so long and having only 9 more characters to obtain (mainly cryo 5 stars) the amount of strong characters I’ve built up has gotten to the point where one skill or burst will kill anything. Bosses are fast, leylines take a split second, and domains feel like a walking simulator intermittently interrupted by flashy bursts and big numbers. It feels like I barely play my characters that I’ve worked so hard to build up, sure it’s satisfying and makes farming fast, but I’ve always ended up playing another action rpg directly after playing genshin. But it is nice to see that a fully built Diluc can do a fair bit of damage, while also feeling satisfying to use without having to do a challenge build to get some thrill out of the gameplay.
