I am not a techie and have no idea how I might use this, but am a HUGE fan of Fluent products. I appreciate your explanation and am thinking instead of adding php tweaks to my current functions folder - this might be an alternative that will keep me from breaking my site. LOL. THANK YOU!
I like the fact that you can group snippets. Would be even better if we could use a folder structure. Can you test it against wpcode and code snippets to test performance?
CRM & Forms are solid for years! Gonna try snippets for sure. Code Snippets is a must install however most of the time just for some minor tweaks. We'll see ... 20 minutes after release 😅 thx Paul ...
Certainly two thumbs way up from me. Many thanks for bringing it to our attention Paul. Would love to see the ability to bulk collapse all snippets via that small down arrow next to each code lines to keep things ultra compact and tidy.
I love the plugin better overall , I miss KB Shortcut - CTRL+S - to Save the snippet color picker - #colors ( to see at a glance our codes in visual form ) Import Export feature + Bulk Select + Rename Function for groups
I have most of their plugins already so always pleased to try new ones they release. I’m trying it out right now and so far so good. I’m guessing a pro version will be released at some point.
Standalone mode cause an error: "Warning : Undefined variable $runAt in " CSS Snippets are loaded as instead of external enqueued style-sheets. Selecting JS Script and then clicking new snippet opens PHP snippet box. Also missing the ability to save snippet changes with shortcut cmd + s. Missing Live snippet update like in WPCodeBox and Oxygen Builder (Hot Reload) The plugin was released a little early. Needs to be polished. This plugin isn't ready for use yet.
Two questions that I've been unable to resolve: 1 Much is made of the 'flat file' approach and that drew me to FS. The implication is that one can manage these files, but I can't find any documentation that cites how and where they are stored. Which leads me to Q2; 2 Has anyone used Fs and then done a migration? Are the flat files moved along with everything else? Cheers
So you can I install it and the snippets still work? How does that happen.. like conditional logic and where they run? I would have thought you’d need the plugin to manage the running of the snippets. If not that’s even better.
Hi, How about security? I'm using code snippets now. I've read that that is not very safe. It is better to put the scrips in the functions.php file. Is Fluent Snippets as safe as putting the scripts in the functions.php file? If it's safer, I'll definitely switch to Fluent Snippets.
Definitely will be giving this an install. It does all I need without having to pay for the pro version of Code Snippets
This looks very promising. I'm really looking forward to seeing if SCSS is implemented, along with cloud snippet storage.

Cool - would like to see more integration into Bricks. This is headed in the right direction.

can you make a compare with code snippets free and pro?
Is a filesystem call more efficient/resource -intensive than a database call (presumably cached)?
Seems really nice! I was just looking for a snippets plugin and was going to buy one but this one has all I need for free :D
Sorry Paul, I missed this video the first time round. I don't suppose you have a link to the snippet itself?

Right on time after the 'Goodby WP Plugins - AI and Code Generators' video a month back.
Looks interesting, giving it a try a bit later
I am look9ing forward to trying this

This is the best one
How could this plugin is free? I don't mind to pay like 20-30 bucks for 2-3 sites annually for this awesome plugin.
😮switching to this

What is the compatibility between Fluentsnippet and Oxygen builder?
No idea sorry, I don’t use Oxygen.
Is same like script organizer plugin from dplugins, but SO have additional option - disable for page builders
I’ve never used it, so can’t compare them.
@@WPTuts I bought this plugin 2 years ago and i happy to use them, condition load is very useful for optimization website
@@WPTuts Will provide you licence in your dashboard.
What is this file explorer tool at 6:41
Thanks!
It's part of InstaWP, the platform I use to testing and develop. :)
Fan----tastic! Thank you!@@WPTuts
Interesting
Doesn't support SCSS.
Will you be using it?
For specific use cases, I don’t see why not.
