It would be permanently as long as you continue to be a verified merchant.....At the point of approving your request is when the 500 would be frozen......
Does that mean that one must have 500 plus 50 Usdt before applying? Or one can apply with just 500$ balance?

By default, when your SELL count falls below 30. The 500 usdt will automatically be unfrozen.
However, if you initiate the request, it should take 7 days for it to be treated.

No, it remains there as long as you are a verified merchant but once your sell count goes below 60 in 30 days, the security deposit would return to your account by default

You also need to complete more than 30 sell transactions and actually do some good volume.

I have about 1200 transactions and about 700 USDt on my funding account and more than half a million in my account balance and over 5million transaction history yet it declined, am planning to apply again.
