I started watching this nest with 2 GE eaglets shortly after they hatched. I would check in and review the day, hoping they were both doing well. The parents were providing and caring for both up until the dad didn't show up for several days in a row starting around June 29/30. It seemed to be the beginning of the end for the #2 eaglet. It was hard to watch the parents barely showing up and dropping off very little food, which sent the oldest eaglet into survival mode. Unfortunately, #1, the older eaglet ended the younger eaglet's suffering this morning. Fly high and soar the heavens little #2. 🦅💙
