Paul can knock out a sweet love song in a heartbeat. He was so in love with his wife Linda - her death from cancer broke his heart. But he's still rockin' on.
When this came out as a single it was unusual to hear the word "damn" on the radio. I was a kid and it was one of those "dirty" words we weren't supposed to say.
Ram is masterful and Paul's most creative period and output in my opinion. Eat at Home, Monkberry Moon Delight, so many good ones on that album. On the debut self-titled album too.
Did you know WINGS were the 4th best selling group in the USA in the 1970s ........and they said he couldnt do anything after The Beatles ! Macca greatest musician ever !!
Damn, and the album version is longer too, with a damn instrumental vibe in the middle. "London Town" was the first Wings album I bought in 1979, with "Greatest: just the week before. One of my favorite damn Wings tunes 🤫
This prob one of the best greatest hits albums ever. Not a bad song. I love this one a lot. And you should def check out the vid for Mul Of Kintyre,(spell???) Amazing song, amazing video!!
I love your happy, positive energy and openness to receiving new music you've never heard before. Your channel always cheers me up. Wings has a lot of great songs---don't know if you've covered them before but if you heard them yet, check out "Jet", "Maybe I'm Amazed" (might be Paul McCartney solo), "Mull of Kintyre" and "Band on the Run".
Wings was forced by Paul McCartney with his late wife Linda,Denny Seiwell, former Moody Blues member Denny Laine who passed away recently. The name was inspired by the angels that Paul was praying to for his wife and second child Stella safe delivery in the hospital
Paul showing his prowess with electronica, no surprise, since he invented a lot of it, but had sense enough to keep the real instruments too. Good Night Tonight, Coming Up, and She's My Baby, are all hits from late '70s and early 80s.

In my opinion Paul's two best bass lines are "Goodnight Tonight" and "Silly Love Songs", both big hits, give them a try! 🎵 🕺
Does he ever have an even average bass line?

That and "The B*tch Is Back" wierded me out as a kid 😅
"Games People Play" by Alan Parsons Project also used the word "Damn" one time, and I hated it because of that. 😊
And yet Donna Summer's "Love to Love You" was a radio hit, which is filthier in its way than WAP.
Glad you caught yourself and didn’t turn it off too soon!!👍
Every Song On This Paul McCartney and Wings Greatest Hits Is
Fantastic!!!!!
Thanks I needed a happy song tonight ..
One of my favorite McCartney/Wings songs. Check out "Goodnight Tonight". It is fantastic!
This is a beautiful song♥️🎼
_Ram_ is my favorite McCartney album. "Too Many People" is a sonic highlight, for example.
Ram is masterful and Paul's most creative period and output in my opinion. Eat at Home, Monkberry Moon Delight, so many good ones on that album. On the debut self-titled album too.
Try Monkberry moon delight to hear another side of Paul
Ram is my favorite Paul album.
Top of the list of Wings songs. Never fails to make me smile ear to ear. Beautiful!

Totally agree!

PAUL'S VOICE AND BASS ARE ALWAYS ASTOUNDINGGG! 👍😊
Nice! 👍 You would love the Wings song “Live & Let Die! “ Studio then live… I saw them live awhile back…. GREAT concert! 😀
I love songs with a positive message. Check out The Pointer Sisters funky anthem "Yes We Can Can". You'll love it!
I'd recommend something a little more rockin' from Wings, Junior's Farm!
Junior's Farm is a great WIngs song too. A banger.
McCartney's music AFTER THE BEATLES, is WAY WAY WAY better than it has ever been given credit for!
Paul McCartney, greatest of all time.
Paul McCartney sure puts a smile on your face! He is pure genius!!!

The long version is hot! ...a song that came out in '77 was a standard sound in the 80's - Paul again ahead of his time with a breezy R&B feel.
Love this, always have!
This got a lot of radio play back in the day...heard it all the time. Good journey :) Peace!
When it came out I'd daydream about a girl i had a wicked crush on. Lol. See never knew. I was probably 13 years old. 🙂
“Girls School” the best tack on “London Town”
Oh wow. I love this song.
I always preferred Wings over the Beatles.
💕💕💕
Paul McCartney, what ever else you can say about him, is the best rock bass player ever!
Stellar song.
HEYYYYY MAN😊, YOU RECOVERED PRETTY QUICK HUH SHAWN, A LITTLE COLD??? 😮GLAD YOU'RE FEELING YOURSELF AGAIN, COOL!!! 👍
Ringo has a few good songs....
The No No song always tickles me lol
Please listen to NO MORE NO MORE'---AEROSMITH 1975.
song is from the album Londontown which is also worth a listen-it too was a hit.
Sadly, in the offcial music video, it cuts the long instrumental section, ruining the song.
