Oh wow. This is amazing. Thank you for making this video. I didn’t know that this existed, but now that I do it solves something I’ve been trying to figure out for months. My father is a huge Disney fan, and had been patiently saving up points in the Disney Insider since I think the beginning of the program. Every movie we saw, every dvd we bought he put the points in the system in hopes of saving up enough to get the tour of the Walt Disney Studios. He talked about it all the time. It was his dream. He had just saved up enough when they announced they were never going to be offering it again, and that the Disney Insider program was going away. He was crushed. It’s going to take me some time to save up for this, but I’m going to start putting away whatever I can so I can take him and my mom on this experience to make up for him not being able to get that tour he was dreaming about. Thank you for making this video, it’s amazing to see just on its own, but I’m also really grateful to know this is something I can do for my dad.
@beckstar78 it was. He's normally very stoic, quiet, doesn't let on that much bothers him. But you could tell it crushed him when he realized this thing he'd been dreaming of for years wasn't possible anymore. I'm looking forward to seeing his face when I can give him this trip.
❤❤ maybe you can set up a gofundme for him! I would donate a $1 or 2 to help. I would hoe you can post some videos and footage for us to enjoy his dream with him! Hope you can make it happen ❤❤
I do appreciate how much you consider other guests. I think that says a lot about your character. Thank you for not being sooooo focused on your agenda/job/financial gain to catch the most footage at other’s expense. That’s amazing
As someone who lives here, I would argue that a tour is very much needed in Hollywood. It is not a place you would want to wander around and take a wrong turn and end up somewhere you definitely don't want to be. Having someone who knows exactly where you should go and traveling with a group is very helpful.
This looks amazing and I’m so glad you guys got to experience it. I can’t think of 2 more deserving people. I think I enjoyed seeing you guys experience it more than seeing the tour. ❤❤
Totally get where you are coming from when tearing up! Went to Disneyland for first time, right inside the gates in front of flowers and train, I lost it! My husband couldn’t figure out why I was crying until I was able to speak and tell him. “Walt Disney stood right here!!!” After he grinned, he just hugged me, patted me on the back and asked if we could please now continue on into the park. 🙄😂
I was at Disneyland today and rode in Walt’s fire truck. The very same fire truck that Walt rode in and where they took the final photo of him at Disneyland. He is seated in the truck alongside Mickey and in front of the castle. Goosebumps! Always makes me tear up.
Dland is my home park. I grew up going multiple times a year. I went to WDW for the first time in April and told my friend I did t need to go to MK because I have the original. We ended up getting after hours tickets, so went to the park. Walked onto Main Street and started to cry. It just hits me every single time.
Okay, slightly offended by the Hufflepuff dis but I know Molly's joking. As a proud Hufflepuff we welcome Alan into our house and think he fits the description of Loyal, Patient and Dedicated quite well. :)
Agree 100% I think Alan fits very nicely with us Hufflepuffs. I do think he's a great mix of Hufflepuff and Griffindor. Molly bring a typical Slytherin lol.
This video has just begun and I’m already crying 😭 ❤ I love this so freaking much. We were 6 days without power from hurricane Helene and I’m just so grateful and emotional and exhausted. Hope everyone out there in mam fam is ok. Prayers for all the loved ones lost or who lost everything.
This video proves how mind blowing of an experience this trip is. It’s been on my bucket list since I discovered it existed and I’m so happy y’all got to do this!
I am in awe of how beautiful Molly looks around the 9:12 mark. Your outfit and hair for this day are so lovely!! And Alan's mustache is majestic too of course haha
Molly, if you write to Floyd Norman, you can ask for a commissioned artwork. I was able to have him draw me Mowgli and Baloo- it’s my favorite piece of Disney art. The Jungle Book is my all time favorite Disney film.
I love, love, love seeing your excitement throughout this video. It makes me happy that you got to experience so many amazing moments during this trip.
For YEARS I have thought about doing an adventure by disney trip, but the one thing I've thought their website was missing was some of the information you've shown- namely, how well information is communicated during the trip and where there is a lot of structure to the itinerary and less so, all of which you've covered wonderfully in this video! I'm definitely looking forward to the next one to see more of how this adventure unfolds!
As a kid, The El Capitan was the only theater my mom would take me to. They used to have full stage shows before the movie started, not sure if they do anymore but it was such a treat anytime we went. So happy you guys got to enjoy it. ❤❤
Mammoth Club, I think you would really love a Marceline, Missouri trip. There are folks who still volunteer at the Disney museum there who were friends with Walt and Lilly. There is a lot of history from Walt's childhood.
The second they mentioned the Sherman Brothers dressing room, I started openly weeping in my house watching this. I would have been a blubbering mess to see it in person. Thank you for sharing your emotions with us!! ❤
You guys really need to do a road trip the next time you visit your family in Iowa and head down to Marceline, Mo. The history that is there is absolutely incredible! You will absolutely be in awe! Thanks for this series it is absolutely amazing what you guys get to do with Adventure by Disney! Thanks again!
We did this 2 years ago and Lori was one of our guides! I'm glad you mentioned the group and social anxiety. I didn't know how large our group would be when we booked it so we had a bit of a shock that first day, but ended up having great fun.
I love the nerdiness of this video❤! Such a cool look at what we all love!! Thank you for what you do as someone that doesn’t live super close to either parks.
I didn’t realize the clip on Molly and Alan at the Lord of the Rings table was forced perspective until they couldn’t clink their mugs! It would have been awesome to have Alan as the hobbit sized one!
This was such an amazing video. Seeing the tour through Molly's eyes for Alan's experience was great, till we lost her at Bruce😂 Great footage Alan. I'm old enough to be your mom( scary I feel 17) but I feel we could hang out together the 3 of us really easy😁The meeting of the Disney animator for both of you made me cry. That was my life long dream to work for Disney. Although I possess talent I'm not good enough for them. I've come to grips with that painful realization. I love you guys so much and never miss a video. It's a joy sharing your fun lives together as part of the MAM FAM🥰❤️🇨🇦
Enjoy this fabulous trip! My husband and daughters in their early 20's and I just returned from this same trip in mid August. While we were at lunch at Tam O'Shanter, we experienced a 4.7 earthquake and the wooden table shook! Lori and Dean are Awesome and you are going to love every minute of this adventure! Looking forward to the videos! Have a Magical time!
This type of content is why I am a Mam fan girlie! (And the really good jokes!). As a lover of Disney history this was a gem. Thank you both for keeping it real and bringing us along for this amazing adventure! Hope one Day to go on this wonderful trip!
How fun! My Grandma and I went to the premiere of The Princess Diaries at the El Capitan, back in the day. They had Disney Princesses there and it’s one of my favorite memories.
This is our ultimate bucket list vacation! I'm not sure how long it'll take us to save for it...but we'll get there eventually! Thank you so much for this video!! (Also is it strange that I'm watching the video and crying happy tears!)
Absolutely a fantastic intriguing series of videos. We watched all 3 in a row. Allen is hilarious and you are so knowledgeable. First time my wife and I saw you without makeup and you look so different and amazing.
This video is amazing! I was lucky enough to go on a similar adventure with a Dutch travelagent, we visited the two old studios, griffith park, carolwood barn and the Disney Studios for a tour. Seeing this video is such a fun way to relive the memories! Looking forward to the next videos in this series!
Awesome to get this look at the trip. Great memory for me of seeing The Rocketeer at the El Capitan on opening weekend. Glad to see Fork n Film in L.A. is so good because in New York it is NOT. It takes place in a tiny, dingy, abandoned club in the basement of a mid town hotel. They also had lost their liquor license the night before the Ratatouille screening I attended and tried to get away with only serving non-alcoholic drinks without saying anything or offering any compensation. They also never replied to multiple emails to follow up on that negative experience. Also have to mention that Harper Goff was also the Production Designer for the 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
This is our ultimate bucket list vacation! I'm not sure how long it'll take us to save for it...but we'll get there eventually! Thank you so much for this video!!
What a cool trip. Never even knew something like this was available. Thank you for letting me know. This trip looks amazing. Wow! That book!!!!! OMG. I'm so happy this happened for you guys. Can't wait to see more.
Loved this! Love seeing ABD videos. We did England and France with ABD and it was an awesome trip. We could have planned it ourselves, but it was a deliberate choice to travel with a group to support our daughter’s love of spending time with other kids. It was a joy to travel with other people and we left the trip feeling more relaxed than we have ever felt when traveling with a kid!
Thank you for sharing this adventure! Awe inspiring to see the impact Walt Disney have made in all of our lives. Very much looking forward to the rest of this series!
This is absolutely fascinating. I have friends who took this tour a few years ago and I've always wanted to know more about it. Your in-depth deep dive is such an interesting watch. I can't wait to see more!
The Roosevelt may have been the inspiration of parts of the Tower of Terror, but the obvious building that inspired the ToT lobby is the Biltmore Hotel in downtown LA. The barrel-vaulted ceiling is an exact match.
Wow!! What an absolute treat that we get to come a long on such a special experience. Thank you truly, videos like these really do bring a little magic to the every day✨. Absolutely cannot wait to see the rest of your videos, I already know it’s going to keep getting even more amazing.
I love the Tam- I need a carved sandwich. I always sit at Walt’s table and love the artwork. I’m always hoping to see Dick Van Dyke there - it’s one of his favorite places.
This is absolutely a bucket list trip for me that I hope to go on some day somehow lol thanks for bringing us along as best as y'all could with this one!!!
Floyd is one of the sweetest men ever. In 2019 I went to CTN animation expo and he came and talked to me personally. I was blown away by how friendly and kind he is. If you ever wanted to meet disney animators CTN or Lightbox are excellent places to do it.
I have an amazing memory from the Chinese theater, I went to a Back to the Future marathon back in like 2005 and was able to sit behind Christopher Lloyd! The cast were there and they did a Q and A, but it was SO cool!
Awwww, I planned my own Disney Nerd Pilgrimage to California from The UK this summer and did a lot of these things. It’s great to see you guys doing the same things and reliving my trip. I can’t believe how quiet the Carolwood Barn was when you were there. It was so busy when we went, you definitely got a more personal tour. It was still amazing though!
Little Man of Disneyland book ❤ my grandmother read that to me all the time when I was a kid. It means so much to me. If ever I get to Disneyland his tree has to be a stop for me
Never been to the OG Disneyland only been to all the Orlando parks but this episode was so amazing I got so teary eyed throughout the video a lot of people don’t understand all our love for Disney but it’s just so amazing what he accomplished I hope one day to do this tour so I can cry in person lol but until then I have y’all’s incredible videos to get me through thanks for all the videos sincerely from a Disney lover
Molly, Alan- I’ve been trying to plan my first trip to Disneyland Paris for me and my husband. After watching this video, I just decided we are going to do the ABD London and Paris trip with the extension to Disneyland Paris. I’m frugal by nature, but after seeing the video and seeing and hearing about the experience, I think it will just be a better trip. Yes, it will cost significantly more than if we just booked ourselves, but you are right that we will have a stress free curated experience. And it is all first class- good God you stay at the Kimpton Hotel in London!! And you get guided tours of the Louvre, Versailles, the Crown Jewels. So thank you for the inspiration.
Grauman’s. I think I would die of happiness. I nearly did when I went to Radio City Music Hall in NYC, maybe not as beautiful as GCT but oh, my heart was so, so full. So thankful to go on such an incredible adventure with you!
I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and I really love it!!! The views are nuts.. I have one of the Hollywood sign.. I remember the first time I went there it was later at night when I checked in and I got in looked out the window and said “ of course I’d come to Hollywood and find a Disney store” lolol … I just love it there!!!!!
My late husband worked at ABC in the Bay Area in marketing and was able to do a work trip to Walt's barn because he was a G Scale train enthusiast and Disney lover. The Barn is overwhelming. You should stay at the Roosevelt! The spa is wonderful and the pool side rooms are epic and not that expensive
Fantastical video Molly and Allen!! 🎉💕🎊 Taking us on this Adventures by Disney trip where Walt walked was truly a special and wonderful treat!! 🤩 To me, the tour guided experiences brought the next level of Pixie Dust in Disney Magic !! ✨️🧚♂️✨️High Fives for taking the time to cover the aspects of trip planning and benefits of travel agents like "Be Our Guest" provide which is quite helpful! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Oh the barn!!! Purchased So dear to my heart from a video store sale and my kids watched that movie until they knew it by heart! Had no idea we were looking at Walt’s barn!? Love it. All the feels 😭 Thank you for sharing. ❤
Wow this is by the coolest video! I had no idea this experience existed and I'm now rethinking/adding to my bucket list. Thank you for sharing this amazing experience!
The private after (or before) hours tour of the Vatican is crazy. You get to open or close the place with the Key Masters. You get to turn on the lights of the Sistine Chapel with no one else but your group. Insane.
I discovered this trip several months ago while perusing ABD's website and it immediately was added to the top of my bucket list! I was so excited when I saw this video pop up. It's so pricey but I hope one day (sooner rather than later) we can make the trip.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Since I’m the only huge Disney fan I know that would be interested in this trip, I’m curious if there were any solo travelers in your group. I’d hate to be the only one.
Ive done a solo ABD and it was great. Everyone is very friendly and you become one big family. I’d choose an adult exclusive tour and just be aware there is a single supplemental charge for solo travelers. This one Molly and Alan did usually runs around $5000 per person but as solo you will pay around $7000.
@@roseNthorn Well, that sucks. There is no discount for having more than two in the room, however. I hate how solo travelers are penalized. It’s why I don’t ever go on cruises. Oh well.
I have a few bucket list items and one of them is ABD. Thank you so much for doing this and bringing it all into our living rooms, or wherever else you like to watch this outstanding channel & super informative content. ❤

Floyd is 89!!!! Wow. I feel like that’s a testament that working for Disney keeps you so young!
This is by far one of the coolest curated experience trip that seems totally worth the price. Fork N' Food looks like so much fun!
It does! I hope one opens in Chicago!

I am in awe of how beautiful Molly looks around the 9:12 mark. Your outfit and hair for this day are so lovely!! And Alan's mustache is majestic too of course haha

That sounds amazing!!
Grauman’s. I think I would die of happiness. I nearly did when I went to Radio City Music Hall in NYC, maybe not as beautiful as GCT but oh, my heart was so, so full. So thankful to go on such an incredible adventure with you!
This is so cool! Can't wait for more Vlogs!
Lots LOTS of ceiling shots. 😊
I would have cried so much the entire day…incredible!!! I’ve pondered the possibility of taking this ABD trip but now I think that I must do it!!
Actually saw The Rocketeer at the El Capitan during the opening weekend, loved the organ and the boisterous audience.
R.I.P. molly oct 4th 2024 oh she’s not dead just transfixed by the majesty that is Bruce the shark ❤😂😂😂
What an amazing adventure! Had me crying a couple times because I get emotional just like Molly when it comes to Disney history & magic.
You need to go to Marceline to see the first rail barn.
We did it in December of 2023. A great tour!!!!😊
The private after (or before) hours tour of the Vatican is crazy. You get to open or close the place with the Key Masters. You get to turn on the lights of the Sistine Chapel with no one else but your group. Insane.
This is now on my bucket list
Can’t wait to watch this set of videos happy Friday
I discovered this trip several months ago while perusing ABD's website and it immediately was added to the top of my bucket list! I was so excited when I saw this video pop up. It's so pricey but I hope one day (sooner rather than later) we can make the trip.
I’d be the same way with the skeleton dance as Molly is with Bruce the shark 😂
What an amazing video. Teared up during the footage of Walt’s barn. Thank you for sharing your experience. Looking forward to the next video.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Such a fun video! I love all of the history and can't wait to see more!!
Thanks for the great video. I always wondered what these trips were like. I’d love to do the Egypt one! ❤
Aw my first time to California travelling from the UK and I stayed at The Loews the week before you! Wish I could have seen you ❤
Since I’m the only huge Disney fan I know that would be interested in this trip, I’m curious if there were any solo travelers in your group. I’d hate to be the only one.
I’ll be your plus one!!
There was a solo traveler in our group! Based on our chats with them, they had an amazing time!
Oh well.
I have been waiting for this video ❤
Cant believe how young you both are! Loved this video so much
5:45 I have a friend with an apartment in that building with the glass front. It's an incredible place to stay!
I have a few bucket list items and one of them is ABD. Thank you so much for doing this and bringing it all into our living rooms, or wherever else you like to watch this outstanding channel & super informative content. ❤
