He had everyone mesmerized from beginning to end. And yes, it's that smooth rich deep voice of his that holds your attention, and makes you wanna hear more. There is only one V in Kpop.

You should also listen to 4 o'clock a song he wrote which he sang in duet with RM. Have you watched Stignm. His vocal range is amazing here. Also Fri(end) s a sgle he released earlier this year. And wherever u r a duet with Umi which UMI. None of them will disappoint.

I almost wrote earlier how much I appreciate you not throwing them into KPOP category since they can do KPOP but that isn't at all who they are and the entire industry shunned them for 10 years. But now you said no other voice like it in the KPOP world, but where is there another voice like his in the world? I hope you don't start putting them in that box. Especially with this song. A song that sounds like it should be a bedroom song but the words that have nothing to do with that. His dance that doesn't bop to the beat but almost challenges the song to keep up with his thoughts. RM wrote this btw and then said he knew V was the one who had to sing it and make it is own, which he totally did. They started as a HipHop group that added vocals and choreo of the kpop world at a time when that wasn't really done. As a result they were shunned by both the HipHop world (that considered them sellouts and falsely assumed they wouldn't be part of the creative process any more) and shunned by the Kpop world (who were powerful and literally kept them from Korean broadcasts and instigated hate campaigns against them that other kpop group fans would get behind... all because they considered them too free and non-conformists to the strict idol standards of that industry). So BTS said we'll do our own thing... and they did and they did it well... now kpop tries to emulate BTS style, so more groups are beginning to look and sound like hiphop/vocals and choreo all combined, but 90%+ of their groups don't participate creatively, which BTS has always done since before debut. Don't get me wrong... KPOP idols work extremely hard and under conditions and with unrealistic standards that shouldn't be the mandate... and I feel for them for real. But the whole point of BTS and their existence was to break that stereotype... and to show "idols" should be free to be themselves. So calling them Kpop bothers some of us (though not all), more than others. It is a big fandom made up of all kinds of people who like all genres of music. Because they are artists who create whatever they want to create with whatever style and genre fits their message at the time. You'll also notice almost all their awards pigeon hole them into KPOP too, even when their music and style isn't KPOP at all... the western world (namely the US) say, they are okay as long as they aren't competing with our own musicians. JK's new album, for instance... nothing KPOP about it... just POP and entirely in English. But it is labeled KPOP... merely because he is Korean. Yet, most KPOP groups aren't even made up of Korean members. Literally they pull them in from Australia, Japan, America, Netherlands, and on and on. BTS is truly an all Korean group made of members from all over Korea. And in that, they don't even fit the KPOP standards. LOL Anyway... sorry for the long rant, but just seeing you starting to fall into that and it is hard when reactors start to like BTS and then immediately start thinking "Oh now I must like kpop." You might! They have some fun, very catchy music with impressive dancing! But just saying... many BTS fans are simply not KPOP fans nor do we prefer to limit them to one category. -you are doing great though fr. Gonna keep going and will say less in the future. Peace.
