I have a couple video requests, thinking maybe you are like the concrete D J, taking requests... LOL. I had thought of soldering tin cans, cutting them up, etc, to use as an armature. Then I saw 1 can just sitting around had rusted. So #1. Armatures. What can you use as armatures? Does rust matter? Could I prime the tin cans? I know your videos for the large planter, table, etc, so I've seen some of what you've done with plastic buckets; (I've been collecting plastic containers for this). Are there any alternatives to use instead of lath for smaller items? maybe chicken wire. #2. Building up concrete layers for hand building. I see some people with youtube videos i don't trust. You are a good channel. But they like do some odd things building up layers. It's my understanding wet concrete doesn't stick to concrete already curing. I need info right away though, so not sure if i can wait. You have great videos.
Also, I saw your video on recommended materials... which you included thinset. I could use info on using that... when, where, why, how. I really see my designs will involve joining some separate parts... like I was thinking of having steel wire embedded & sticking out, to solder or weld, depending on thickness. (I had thought you don't want to let metal show between concrete sculpture parts... but have since seen some world famous sculptures are built with a middle metal section showing)... & believe I could use thinset to help join cured concrete parts? where wire / steel rod won't be exposed

How about in the winter when water is absorbed into the concrete then freezes?
