Thank you! No ND for this one, in the meantime I bought a variable ND filter and I use @artlist.io for music.
I quite enjoyed this. The only shot that took me out of this was the plane and bird at 41 seconds. The plane feels like the outside world intruding and breaks the illusion. Otherwise, great visual tone poem.

I am plannig to get the 35 mm f1.4 and everyone says for the video is better the f2 model. My question is , if you plan to use it on autofocus sometimes , is it really that hard to tame. I dont mind using it manual most of the time but is good to have a somewhat decent autofocus in case you need it.

Hi! The reason many consider the f1.4 is not that good for video is because if you like to shoot videos with audio, and you use the internal mic of the camera, the F1.4 version sounds very loud when it focuses. It has a mechanical crackle, something pretty annoying. And besides that, it is a bit slower to focus than the f2 version and it's not weather sealed. But optics are 10x better. So I did the math: do I record audio via tha camera mic? No - no disadvantages there. Do I shoot fast moving subjects or sports videos? No. So I don't mind the small focus speed difference (even though the XT3 handles the 35mm 1.4 very very well and it is a pretty snappy focus). So no disadvantages here either. Do I shoot in rain? No. So again. No disadvantages. Is the 35mm f1.4 optic nice? It may very well be one of their best lenses. This video is shot with autofocus with 35mm 1.4. If you like the optics, go get it.If you don;t shoot fast moving subjects and dont need audio from the camera mic, go get it. You won't regret it not even one second.

@@MattRozier1 Thank you so much! :D Guys, I used HLG, not F-log, my noise reduction in camera was set to 0. All were set to 0, besides sharpness which was set to -3 from what I remember. 4K 60p :)

Hi! Yes, stabilised with a FEIYUTECH AK2000 gimbal. 35mm 1.4 has no OIS. But with a gimbal it works wonders. :D My favorite Fujinon lens :)
How’s the 35 1.4 autofocus on the gimbal?
Hey! I have a good experience with it, honestly. As you can see in the video, the AF does not hunt to focus or anything like that. I get good AF with it on a gimbal. :D
@Alexander Brazda Lorente yep. Face AF detection :) works wonders. People say the AF on 35mm is slow. Not sure waht to say about that. It works great. Maybe slow for sports, but it's not the case for me.

did you take in 60p or 120p? and how did you set your shutter speed?
I shot it in 60p 4K HLG 10bit. Shutter Speed was set to Auto on the dial. The lighting conditions were changing often and I couldn't risk blowing the highlights because of the sun and occasional clouds having it on manual. So I shot with the Shutter speed on auto.
Do you manual or autofocus for this kind of work?
Back when I shot this I used the AF-c on the fuji xt3. Now I don’t AF anymore. I moved on to Blackmagic Pocket anyway and I exclusively manual focus.

Merci mult! In mod specific in acest video am folosit gimbal, dar la 90% din restul clipurilor am filmat handheld. Xt3 nu are stabilizare interna, nici 35mm 1.4 nu are o forma de stabilizare. Dar eu folosesc acum un smallrig cu manere arri si shoulder pad si pot stabiliza foarte bine - ai si acel vag motion handheld cinematic, mai tare decat gimbal (parerea mea)
