Jesus promised rewards for labor here on earth; not some airy place no one knows anything about. Read the whole of the Old Testament with information about a living and active God - helping his followers countless times here on earth. The Christians sadly, deviate from this truth by teaching something else. Sad.

@@bongrappiddo9378 The New Testament is contradictory, alot. Not very relliable on this score as far as what is God's Truth and what is false. John's gospel is a later addition to the Bible canon which makes it less reliable, sadly. The long and short of the NT is concerned with the gospel & the Kingdom of God. The God that send Jesus to deliver the GOOD NEWS Message, making him a Messenger and a Unique prophet. Anything about Jesus coming etc. was written for religious propaganda purposes, to Fool the simple minded believers. So, focus more on the 4 gospels but Your interpretations should not contradict the teachings in the Old Testament as Jesus affirmed the OT and the prophets.

Seems like you don't know what you're talking about.
      You said this.
"Anything about Jesus coming etc. was written for religious propaganda purposes, to Fool the simple minded believers."
      .
You mean the prophesy in OT about Jesus is propaganda?

Wrong division of Scripture. He promised ISRAEL rewards on earth, the Body of Christ saved by Grace through faith alone, rewards in Heavenly places.
