I don't like why they're doing it either though, if you were to ask me, given the situation and the fact that Israel is our ally, this kind of thing should be considered terrorism. The government has the power to restrict speech in times of war and crisis to prevent harm and this kind of thing could easily lead to violent attacks. Just like how people weren't allowed to protest the draft during Vietnam becasue no soldiers=no protection, in this case no support for Israel=no protection for Israel=harm to our allies and therefore ourselves.

Flag burning is such a form of symbolic speech. When a flag is privately owned, the owner should be able to burn it if the owner chooses, especially if this action is meant in the form of protest.

This is beyond disgusting. I can't understand why people would resort to these extreme measures, not knowing that it's also harming us in a big way. While it's somewhat respectable that people are voicing their opinions, they should do it in a controlled manner. Burning the United States flag is also beyond me. I'm shocked that many people can sit there and watch this unfold. While I may not agree with the country at times, burning the flag represents a hatred and disrespect for all the people that gave their life to the country. As for the professors indoctrinating this movement, is the WORSE kind of people to have in the education system. I had the great misfortune of meeting one who tried to indoctrinate their feminist views on us as part of a specific subject for our school. Professors should be the guidance that helps the children/teenagers/young adults explore their OWN lifestyle, NOT pushing them to believe in a certain belief.
