In my many years of piano I have not one time seen someone on your level of transpositional quality. This genuinely looks like you made it yourself. In fact, it probably would have been easier to make a similar piece than trying to transpose this. Extreme respect to you my friend. You are a talent beyond recognition.
By the way @synamo I noticed that the provided SM link is played in some places an octave down or up. For example, in the first series of higher pitched chords with the right hand, the left hand is an octave lower in the video vs the SM. Wait shit, is it the black lines at the bottom? Are they supposed to be the octave down symbol? My bad for not guessing if that's the case. I guess musescore didnt render it properly. 😅
yeah, musescore is having some issues with rendering that for some reason, but yes those are supposed to be the 8va symbols lol (sorry for not responding quickly, for some reason I didn't get a notification)

it's probably just that there are a few other castle vein covers released first, so most people would have already seen them and not go looking for another, which is fair, but my dancer in darkness video hasn't done nearly as well despite being (as far as I know) the only piano version of that song. Perhaps people just aren't looking for a piano version of that track though lol

@@synamo its a great level and the fake something wicked when you do the challenge scared the shit out of me and the song is beautiful too but its not order or castle vein so no one cares and its a shame

Ima be honest g, this song took me more than i'd like to admit
if youre used to playing the intro and you try to learn the drop it can be kinda tricky. i recommend playing the right hand solo for a while before trying to incorporate the left hand since you are used to playing the whole cohesive melody with both hands instead of playing one half of the cohesive melody with each hand

great piece, im struggling on the 1:40 part though 😭the constant left note pressing is really screwing me up.
oh yeah that part is really tricky, id recommend just playing it extremely slowly, you can also practice polyrhythms and syncopation in general, which should help with that part. but yeah that part definitely throws you off lol

That was intentional! I try to theme the visuals to what the level looks like, so for this one i used the blue and red skulls since they are the main concept in 1-3
And same with Dancer in Darkness, the yellow and green are the two main colors in 4-3, and Tenebre Rosso Sangue literally translates to blood red darkness so I just used red lol

im trying to learn this when i have no experience on the piano whatsoever lol (i'm currently struggling with sheet music)
u got this! take ur time, learn one section at a time, and go slowly to get the muscle memory in your fingers cause once you have that you can start increasing the speed!
And you could also try removing some of the top notes (which are just an octave above the bottom note) in sections like 0:35 to 1:07 and then adding the octaves once you are more comfortable.
Also I say this in the comments of the sheet music, but in case you didn't see that I would recommend playing the constant notes in the left hand in the 1:08 to 1:40 section on your thumb instead of your pinky (if that makes sense?) as not only does it sound better on a real piano (at least in my opinion) but it is also much easier to play lol
This is also a somewhat difficult piece (especially for a beginner) but just take your time to learn it, and since it's a song you like you'll probably be much more motivated to practice.

Furthermore, how can I create for these myself? Like, what did you make this on? Software? Sorry I’m bad at communicating questions
what i do is use the (free!) program musescore to make the arrangement, and then i export that arrangement into a midi file and import that into the (once again, free!) program piano-vfx (there are others such as embers or synesthesia but piano-vfx is my favorite) and it’ll automatically play it for me and export a video file. you can also do a live playback where you plug in a midi keyboard (basically an electronic piano) and itll copy the notes that you play, but i dont have one of those lol. after that you can use any video editor (i use hitfilm 14 cause thats what i have installed on my computer but i dont think you can actually get it anymore, id recommend like davinci resolve but any video editor will work) to add the little titlecard at the beginning, but thats optional ofc, i just like adding it

I’m working on it, though currently I’m stuck trying to figure out ways to get the long held notes (especially in the beginning) to sound good without using insanely fast tremolos that are basically unplayable…
Can’t promise that it’ll release anytime soon but I am working on it!

yeah, thats a section where knowing how to read sheet music really helps
does this work for 61-key?
depends what key it starts on, the only part that could maybe not work as written is the section from 0:36 to 1:07 where you may need to remove the top note (but again that depends on what note your keyboard starts on)
