My friend owned 2017 BS4 Duke 390 n he was really happy that he sold his bike after 1,80,000 KM n still running good coz he sold his bike to his friend n he rebuild his engine but never seized. So I guess this owner scammed by KTM service centre
Fuel expands when it heats up.... Ye reason ho sakta hai ki fuel indicator kam-jyada dikhata hai.... Mei jab apni bike cold start karta hu tab jo fuel level dikha rha hota hai wo accurate hota hai, aur jaise hi bike thodi chalegi heat up hogi to fuel level 1-2 bars badh jata hai!

Bro my new rc 390 had a vibration issue that I had complained of on the 6th day after delivery. They denied saying it's noise due to mirrors taken off after keeping the bike there for a whole day. I also found out they had just topped up oil in my first service when they hadn't even drained oil through oil drain nut on left. Took it to an expert n he proved they haven't touched anything n just charged me money. I'm never going to the service centre after my upcoming 3rd n 4th service.

Real time story, in bs3 model, they used to crack the air filter box with screw drivers, which led the engine to suck unfiltered air, and after 5-6000kms customer will pay 40-50000₹ I personally never ever leave the bike in service centre, they infact change some good parts with faulty parts, and customer will have to pay the bill. Reason why i bought a new 390 with 5 years warranty. I personally don’t think that 390 is a bike to purchase preowned. Even i sold my bs3 rc390 after correcting engine work & after one month customer told me bike smoke derhi h & im shocked

Abb to lag raha engine hi khule gaa. Aur to avi 8k bhi nhi chala bike. Morning Mai 2-4 bar mai start hoti.. koi solution hae to batao.

Pahile jab bike service centre me Dali thi to Unone 10k ka bill bna kr diya morning me start ka problem tha sirf uske baad bike 2 din sahi chali aur fir same wohi problem aane lagi fir maine unse pucha aapne kam kya Kiya bike toh wo bolne Lage koi aur kam nikla hoga toh badme wo bolne Lage valve ka head ka kam hai
Puri story ma electric problem dikh rhi engine khadi gadi ka ksa seize hooskta h agar bnda cold gadi koo sidha start kr k full rpm khech dee usma engine seize hota. Yaa fir isa bnde kii gadi kisi na chalayi isk jana baad😂😂😂
Ktm service is so funking bad my friends duke 250 got abs failure acc to ktm service firstly the abs plate was damaged still same isue and was telling him to change whole abs system the issue was some wire which then he fixed by tapping on the wire doing it by himself luckily it got fixed

Look for unusual engine sound , Tyres, because the set costs 26 k Metzler. Chain sproket. Most importantly, look for service records. The owner must not be careless and chindi.

The high compression of this engine always will require a rebuild @50,000kms

Service centre scam hai inka. I change my own oil filter/air filter do all my own maintenance. Not that difficult. Ride like gentleman.
