I bought a 15 gallon husky tote from HD. Fits 2.5-3 of the 20 pound bags. Make your own signature blend out of a few different pellets and toss them into the husky tote. It's waterproof and works amazing.
I’m trying that!
I liked this. I have an Asian Restraunt that buys soy sauce in a 5 gallon pail. Pail and lid like the one you showed $1.75. I have a half dozen pails.
You keep the gallon tubs inside or outside?
For just a few bucks more, you can get those Food Safe Buckets, especially if you will be storing those pellets for more than a few months. Good Luck.
You should sift your pellets before putting them in the buckets, less dust/sediment that can clog your auger.
Hello Mr Jones, how is everting thing going? I use the Kingsford charcoal caddy. They work great and they hold 40 pounds of pellets.
Once in the bucket, do you store in high temps? Or just outside in shade?
Just got one & it doesn't fit either. I tried an ACE, Home Depot, and another but it's too small to fit any of them. :(
I also sift my pellets. before storing them.
LOWES buckets have tops that are easier to remove.
Label my buckets wit painters tape
Yup I do the same thing. That way if I change flavors I just use a new strip of tape
But how many pounds fit in a bucket?
A whole 20 lb bag will fit with about 5 more pounds of space. So total is about 25 pounds. I still use these buckets on mine
Looks ghetto as F
