Try disconnecting the garage door...you know that pull handle. I think you’ll be able to get more height out of the garage door if you do it manually.

You should redo the wood grain! Would really complete the classic look, I used to watch your videos with Jade all the time, and was researching how to get the rear tailgate glass to work on my 83 waggy when I came across this!
